One day every goal keeper who plays in England would had played for Arsenal
Biggest thing I was told for keepers is it has to go thru 10 players before it gets to you.
This is kind interesting that the best Polish goalies are not appreciate / underrated in Poland and other are more popular My bests: Dudek and Fabiański Boruc despite being good GK was overrated (never played for big club or big league and not impact on national team ) Regarding Szczesny vs Fabianski: Szczesny is very good GK especially when older, but feel more safe, when Fabiański was on the line in both Arsenal and Polish team (and even by achievements, Fabiański won FA cup, and was main GK when POL national got historical result in Euro2016) Dudek is the legend for me

Another famous Polish goalkeeper was Karol Wojtyla, AKA John Paul II.
I have Flap-ianski on the back of my 6 a side shirt in honour of Fabianski! Love him as a keeper!

To be fair, anyone would be pissed if they lost the number 1 position to Almunia. He was shithouse for Arsenal.

Well 07/08 season he was very good and did no wrong. Lehmann had two howlers two games in a row in the the first two games. Second game it cost us 2 points.

Almunia came in did extremely well at the start. Even saved a penalty against Spurs preventing them from taking the lead. It was 08/09 where he was found out and he never improved from then on. That being said I'll never forget Almunia's shit near post goalkeeping in the champions league final. The way he conceded those was criminal.

Jens wasn't exactly mr friendly was he. Plus he was developing a knack for a howler at the time and almunia probably smelt blood.
For a keeper the best mentality to have is the score is always 0-0 !!!!

Almunia was not a very good keeper at all, he never should have played so much for Arsenal.
Almunia was the worst goalkeeper I’ve ever seen.
