I’ve had this listener request for a long time now! It’s really important to me if I’m covering a topic like this, that people are represented accurately. I know Autism Spectrum Disorder is going to be a little different for everyone, because it is a spectrum, but I have a friend who recently got a diagnosis and they agreed to read over the script for me. So a big thank you for their help, and I wish it hadn’t taken this long, but I wanted to make the best version I could. Whatever makes you unique, you are enough, and you don’t have to be any ‘more’ or ‘less’. You are already just right :)

I realize your likely not taking requests or anything like that but I'd personally really love to see a Type 1 diabetic asmr rp. As someone who has type 1 it's incredibly frustrating to see it not represented or inaccurately.

I have never clicked on a YT notification so fast in my life. Having Autism, ((ASD, used to be known as Asperger’s Syndrome)) ADHD, major Anxiety, and major Depression, I always love hearing audios more tailored to audios with ASD/Autism, there isn’t a lot of them out there compared to the Depression or Anxiety audios, so seeing these from some of my favorite content creators really makes me happy. Thank you Ms. Pine. I really appreciate you and all you do, keep up the great work.

Im sorry but this couldnt come at a better time XD im currently being diagnosed with autism and im scared to bits about the outcome, because for some reason my brain made me believe if i did have autism my loved ones would leave/hate me. it might sound like an over exaggeration but this audio literally had me in tears, but this made me accepted for the first time as someone with autism (even tho im not sure i have it), this made me alot less scared about the definite diagnosis.

I hope people with Autism find this helpful. I think I have autism myself… I think, Now that I think about it, idk if I remember talking about it with my mom about it. I’m probably just being an idiot. I’m still waiting to see someone cause my mom wants me to see a specialist, (to get help) because of how I am. (Always sad all the time, doubting myself, I think I don’t deserve to have nice things, can’t stop worrying, big anxiety, I don’t look after myself apparently, I think I’m a disappointed ETC) To be honest I feel like I’m getting worse and worse, I know that recently I haven’t been sleeping well and can’t stop worrying about becoming an adult this year. I don’t know what on wart is wrong with me. A big thank you to all these ASMR channels like this one for help make me feel better, even if I don’t think I deserve to have help. ❤️‍🩹

This kind of situation is really delicate, the last 6 people I tried to be friends with left me and cut me out of their life because I told them I have D.I.D. ... maybe they weren't good people, or maybe they just fear they can't deal with me after knowing the truth... I am not an autist, but I know how it feels socially...

They were friends with you before you told them so you are certainly not putting them off, there are some people that may look at you because you’re different and most not all but most are usually afraid of what’s different, they should be lucky you trusted them enough for you to tell them of your spectrum, if they can’t handle you just because of how this effects your daily life then they were not your friends, don’t be disheartened though, you’ll find friends to accept you warts and all 😁

After two appointments with doctor and my mum helping to answer questions about how I was and how I am. It’s been confirmed I have a diagnosis of autism, idk how to feel about it exactly, been mostly sad, doesn’t help my mental Health has just gotten so much more worse. Because of what I have I will be able to have assess to help and extra support so that’s nice, even tho I feel like I don’t deserve it. My mom said she will help look more into the details for what I want to do, and when I want to ask and see doctor etc. I can definitely relate more now then before with this ASMR. A lot of what is said is what my mom said even tho it doesn’t feel like it, and I still have questions. Ty again for the ASMR Kat, real comfort me more now. 🥺❤️‍🩹

Okay, this is a deep seeded fear and one that contributes to staying home and not meeting people. While most close people I've had discussions in this arena have come to the general consensus that "Yes, I am" (on top of severe anxiety, social anxiety, depressive episodes and a laundry list of other issues) I don't like to talk about it. My therapist and I are on the same page: what point does it serve to put it on a chart for a man in his mid-30s? It doesn't change anything. Thank you for keeping the hope alive that, when the time comes, that special woman will understand...at least enough to not be scared off.

I have mild autism and I rarely tell people because my autism is my normality, yes I may have trouble looking new people in the eyes and I tend to be more introverted due to not understanding certain social cues but my autism has helped mould me into the man I am today😁 this was a lovely well researched topic, thank you for covering this spectrum because I feel not many people talk or even bother to learn about it, most people think autism is another form of stupidity but it’s more of a form of constant repetitiveness of tasks and everything we do has a meaning to an end, at least to me, sometimes il leave my headphones in and not play music just to hear what other people say yes it’s a bit intrusive but some people have truly interesting stories to tell 😂 sorry if this comment went on for a bit just wanted to show my appreciation, also be proud of your autism lads and ladies it’s your own form of artistic expression, I say that because my mother calls my autism artistic which is ironic because my art is awful 😂

I saw his challenges and all the extra help he needed growing up (though he is so smart and his social skills are freaking great now- so jealous 😆) and looking for a diagnosis… idk… makes me feel like one of those “oh I have depression too, I got really sad yesterday” kind of people I guess. I just wanted to live like normal, non-autistic people. But unfortunately, it will never happen. Not until I find a real job and live in my own apartment. But at this rate, I might never get a full-time job or an apartment because I don't have a job and I still live with my parents. I should have left my parents a long time ago and gotten a full-time job but I'm just being lazy and irresponsible. Emphasis on the word "irresponsible".
