i agree, f40 is maybe more agile because it weights less and has a turbo, everything else in on side of F50

This is super is it your video or a repost? I have a F50 & F40 story closer to my home (town I grew up in actually) when the F50 was new a young entrepreneur John Carmack in his 20’s at the time got an F50 which was hard to get without past history at the time - Ferrari restrictions. Having it isn’t the whole story. The rest is that he instantly put twin turbos on it and drove it almost daily. When he didn’t he drove is F40! I used to see them around town often. Ohhh the sounds!!! It was awesome. (You should know my town was middle to lower class type place. A Corvette was already special). Not long ago I finally dug up my personal VHS videos that I had of the cars and posted them up on my channel (2 vids he had a 1000hp TR too). For those that don’t know it Carmack created Castle Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake etc. Edit: I forgot to mention it was also the highest mileage F50 when he put it back to stock and sold it.

@rayden85 Nope, it's a 3.5 litre engine that was bored out to 4.7 litres in an effort to both make it more reliable (by revving lower and running at a lower comp ratio, etc) and to produce more torque. The 3.5 litre engine was found in Jean Alesi's F1 car in the 92' season I do believe. Damn, I'm impressed that I didn't have to Google any of that!

the s85 v10 in m5/m6 can achieve close to that F50 sound with a proper exhaust set up and they are selling for dirt...

F40 looks better F50 sounds better
