I was struggling so hard on abyss anything....I had the units but I neglected turn order and ARTIFACTS, used the rune optimizer got some ACC on all units and acc on artifacts, coop attack increase, life drain and damage on light on artifacts and I am FLYING through abyss hard and consistent. Just today i could find easy beginner squad, if u not have dark vampire yet. Verdehile (leader), Icaru, Raoq, Veromos, Totemist. Solid 100% win rate, but slow obviously^) around 2 min.

A general rule of thumb for new players is (besides the fact that this is one of the last dungeons you should grind) the teams that are talked about in EVERY abyss dungeon (or any dungeon for that matter) are built to KILL things FASTER than they can wipe your team, meaning there is no sustain. With that being said, if your team is dying before you can kill the boss, then try switching to a sustain team. I am by no means a veteran when it comes to skill level, but even I can tell you if you are just trying to clear it for your profile record book, then a sustain team will work wonders. I personally used Verde for his leader skill (he also does decent damage, like mentioned in the video and is one of the only monsters with a decent speed leader skill that doesn't absorb or reduce attack bar), 2nd awakened Roaq for def break, team up skill, and again, does decent damage, riley (wind totemist), not only will she provide the attack buff that you would no longer have since this team doesn't have Erigar, she also heals on skills 1, 3, and 4 (not to mention immunity on skills 2 and 4, so you don't have to worry about dots or attack break on your units), 2nd awakened Icaru, also for their team up skill (you're either going to do massive damage, or good damage with a little bit of healing, which either way is good for the team), and finally as the Kro replacement, 2nd awakened spectra (fire griffin). Spectra is super good here since the boss' attack power scales to speed, and spectra reduces not only attack power, but also attack speed, so basically reducing attack power twice. Not only that, but spectra's 2nd skill scales damage based off of enemy max hp, so no matter what, spectra is going to do good damage regardless of debuffs on the boss. I'm honestly surprised that more people don't use spectra since spectra is basically your Erigar and Kro combined on a budget (the only downside to using spectra instead is that you don't get the branding effect, or the vampiric effect, but again, if you are a new(er) player, then chances are you are not doing enough damage in the first phase anyways, and the left crystal cleanses the boss, so if you don't one phase the boss, you're probably going to lose anyways. Finally, for attack order, if you are still not consistently killing the boss, try changing the attack order to the right crystal first. It buffs the boss' speed, which as you know by now, also increases the boss' attack power, as well as increases the boss' attack bar by 50% basically giving the boss 1 1/2 turns per turn cycle. If you feel like the boss is taking a ridiculous number of turns, that is one of the reasons why (the boss also either absorbs your attack bar, or just reduces it based on its 1st and 2nd skills). WARNING: attacking the crystals directly will increase their attack bar by up to 50%, so I don't recommend going after the left crystal in general unless your spectra is consistently landing the attack speed debuff, in which case, the attack bar gain should be minimal. (Either way, you will be sitting at about 2 minutes for a 99% safe F2P team, my best time was 1:36 and that is with non-skilled up monsters, with bare minimum artifacts and mediocre runes. I even had runs where I lost Roaq on the mid boss and still cleared the dungeon.) The only real possibility of you losing with this team is if neither dog land defense break EVER, NOT ONCE, spectra doesn't land speed and/or attack break on the boss, AND riley can't keep your team alive through the very slow fight that the boss will end up being. hope that helps...

I had a hard time learning SW because most people would just tell me what to use instead of explaining why. Glad it was helpful though, lol.

This only works with ultra high rune requirements and it still isnt consistent cause eirgar will use skill 1 on the boss and everything falls apart

Idk if this is a *starter* team. These monster are easy to acquire, yes, but the rune requirement is pretty high if you want to have consistent runs. (Im noob) My team: In order of turns Erigar (L) fight/fight/blade SPD/CRDMG/ATK Riley Vio/Energy SPD/HP/HP Raok Vio/Blade ATK/CRDMG/ATK Nickel (2A) fight/fight/blade DEF/CRDMG/DEF Verdehile Rage/Blade ATK/CRDMG/ATK 100% success rate but slower, a lil over 2 minutes.

Max Def tower and in a max lvl guild. Need 25% on substats in runes 3 and 5. Flat Def on your def% runes 2 4 6.
