As always, excellent very informative video. Speaking of dmg calculation: do you know if there is a cap for +crithitdmg ? As in PvE +100% is very achievable stacking the numbers from sapphires, reforge and gear I am wondering if bumping beyond 100% helps...

Before crit hit dmg comes crit hit chance. IMO, the second best 'atribute' in the game. If you go on the atributes page and click/tap on it, it'll mention a hidden 'double damage' when the 'chance' procs. That's why mother's lament, 2* gem and Roiling Consequence, one of the new 5*, are one of the S+ gems. What you get for crit hit DMG, from fortitude, saph, and, goes on TOP of that baseline, and hidden, 200%.

Really great info and also loved watching your DPS guide. One question/comment I have is that assume the setup has to at least meet the minimum CR requirements for G6 to avoid the percentage loss you get if below CR, similar to challenge rifts

Whats your build setup with skills and essences? My main is a necro and on i5 raids im top 3 among raid groups with only 2.5k reso and quit a few in my wb with 4-6k reso.

So im a 2k reso player that swiches classes constantly wich i know now is bad. But i found barbarian or demon hunter for me right now wich i belive will use similar Setups. I have r10: pebble, power&command, Berserker and a r9 pain clasp some 5* Bile r4 5/5, Jade 4/5 r4, Gloom r3 3/5 and a lement r5 Is that considered a good setup or what could i change?

Crunch p&c and upgrade lament. Replace your pebble with a roiling rk2 if u can (get it to 4 if possible) Bile is not that great (i would get a rk3 echoing shade if possible) Edit: It all depends on which builds u want to play ofc 🙏

Resonance not only increases your dmg, but also your hp.. what about secondary stats and what about classes?

Resonance only increases base dmg a little bit which is not the most efficient way to increase your actual dmg. Please watch my DPS guide for a detailed explanation 🙏 Secondaries has diminishing returns and in PvE they wont add a lot of power after a certain point. (The pve dmg will not be affected a lot if you would have rk10 gems compared to rk7 gems)

This specific gem suggestion is for ranged summoners but the point of this video is not to show that gem comp but to illustrate the potential of f2p with a good build vs a whale with a random build.

I think u misuderstood something. I made 2x more dmg than my friend when both were at 0 reso. This means in the timespan I deal 100k he deals 50k. This is where we then begin calculations 🙏

Very instructive. For a f2p player or extremely low spender, getting these 5 stars gems to rank 4 might represent an uphill battle though. Perhaps after 2 years of playing, but not for new players like me who started 3 months ago. These ideas will help though. Thanks a lot.

Yes this is true. It will be a long term project. But if you get your 2 star gems to rank 6 and the 5 star to rk2 you will be super strong. The point of this video was not to show a great legendary gem comp though. I wanted to highlight how important the core build (your 0 resonance build) is. This is something anyone can work on. Please watch my DPS guide if you want some deep insights.

Don't know if you did a video about it previously, but I'd like one about essences, because most people tend to be lazy, not open minded about leaving their comfort zone at least testing other combinations of skills+essences. For example, most DHs you see out there still use the same primary attack focused build, with some minor variations, and in practically ALL content, which cannot be good. DHs have the best 'tanker' of the game (one immortal trap), and a very sturdy and high dps pet in the form of the sentry. Most people prefer to focus the origin of damage of their character, when, with pets for example, they can deal from more than one source, distract their targets long enough (That trap in challenge rifts, for example), etc. The mention about that curse pants on the necro for G6 (and it's been in the game for a while) is one of the reasons I keep telling people to experiment new builds. It's said that THAT essence can even dispel crusaders CoL immunity (you can test it with a friend).

Tested the pants on Iphael (1st G6 boss), successfully on the 'traps' he might throw on a player, and tend to right after jumping back, to rush over them with high damage > kzread.info/dash/bejne/dq6Bj9GOhJO1ZKw.html 2. On this one video I tested the pants on Drepsaigh's first elite shield, and it worked too, 'skipping' entirely that mini phase kzread.info/dash/bejne/i6GCt7uKksW2c5c.html. It can help gaining a bit more time on the leaderboard, but also on the boss itself, if needed, although it's one of the easiest one still, just another test I made.

Yep. Combine this with the right team composition and you will kick butt. Necro, Crusader, Monk, DH, for example

Hmmm. On paper looks good. Looks deceiving though. The base of 50k and 100k then multiplyied with damage amplifier lol only 48% difference of course the damage with higher base will most likey be higher. The base of damage amplifier is not even good 48% over 91% lol. You say the gem effect is insignificant? But it significantly increase the the two star because the computaion is damage amplifier. Even just humur to it having high damage does not mean anything if you die. And yes i mean the frozen heart and hp of rank 10 5star. How both your base was 50% different anyway? its maybe normal gem show case if you ask me. Playing with percentage does seem accurate so many variables that will not make it accurate factoring crit rate and in practice 24% br is impossible. Why did you did not show actual damage in a vid with your friend? So many factors that can change this but comment is too long already. Please show a vid im curious now.😅 For now very sceptical.

Thats actually what im curious about. How were you able to have double damage difference? 0 resonance this means no gems. It would have been more believable if you had both base damage of 100k for example. guessing you had more damage output because of normal gems or ibenfad sanctum offense base family bonus like attack speed or base damage increase.? What i am saying is remove those variables and make the base even(by base i mean the 50k and 100k) if it is truly is even there should be no difference. Because in a percentage perspective the base in which you factor your multiplier is significant. If you put in an even perspective your base should be the same because if that is the case it has nothing to do with gem configuration and would be a matter of secondary gem power or worse luck depending on crit. Make the base multiplier the same even with each other even though one of the variable is also questionable(i mean using multiplier based on damage amplifier) it would already show significant difference. I called the use of damage amplifier questionable as a multiplier because that is the only way to multiply damage based on your computation (which is not accurate dont underestimate damage of seeping and star fire especially when it comes from an 8k base damage it is big could kill 1k reso from that alone) the way damage is factored in is somewhat stretched if that is the only variable to consider. One example is the spiteful blood you factored in only the base resonance but not the damage amplifier when hp is at 50% vs bloody reach which you factor the base resonance and the full 24% damage amplifier which in reality you can not obtain 100%. The amplifier of percentage damage is not that accurate. Appreciate the reply 😊

Well. Why is your dmg at 0 reso 100k ? And your friend with 0 reso 50k? Why not comparing both initial dmg 100k ? Or 50k to start. For better undertanding ?

Have u even watched the whole video? In the video I am suggesting a 2030 resonance gem composition just as an example but thats not even what the video is about. The video is about how big of a difference it can be between two people with 0 resonance. The conclusion is that if you properly build your 0 reso character in a good way you can outperform whales when you are using a f2p gem comp. As stated in the video it will take some time for a f2p to achieve something similar to my 2k suggestion but those who started at launch and who played actively could be there allready. Also I could run the math with a perfect 1k reso build and still reach the same conclusion. Are there any specific details in this video that you do not understand or don’t agree with please let me know and we can talk more about it 😃
