I really wish I went with the standard double din size instead of the 10.1 inch…my screen is loose around the edges and install wasn’t nearly as straight foward….I’m happy with the sound quality but the screen bubbling on the edges is annoying especially since I paid $400 on the unit….oh well what do you do..

Oof. Guys, if you take the dash plate off, install the radio, then snap the dash on over it, it fits perfectly with no cutting

Did you have to ground the radio to the parking brake to get to use it while driving? If so what did you wire it to I have heard just ground it to normal ground but didn’t know if this brand allows that or not. Thank you

I have a 2004 f250 iv seen 2 definite wire harness I can use a 16 pin one or one like you have. What's the deff? One with 16 pin all wires hook up from radio one like yours I see some.left out

That’s just the one I bought. It probably fits more vehicles so it has extra

What programer do you have and what was brand of radio and app I have 01 f250 super Duty I like the gages

I don’t have a programmer. The radio is an atoto from Amazon. It uses a Bluetooth obd2 adapter and the torque pro app is what displays the gauges

Did you have to do any additional wiring to monitor the coolant and transmission temps?

No but you do have to find the ford plugins in the app itself. It'll have all the 6.0 specific sensors

Thanks for watching! You are correct! It picks it up via Bluetooth. You can use it with your phone or any other device that can download a similar app

It uses a Bluetooth obd2 scanner. The app connects to that

I did the swap in my excursion, I lost the ability to control the volume on my rear oem DVD player. The wiring harness has 2 steering wheel volume control wires, should I wire them both in and if so where? I repinned a harness for the DVD player.

@@Kjmods I see alot of KZread videos with the Atoto cameras installed right in the center of the license plate. I have a van where the hatch handle is in the middle of the plate so I have to off set it by 4 or 5 inches. Their instructions don't say anything about the placement.

Probably just be sure to buy a harness that fits your model year and follow the diagrams

Does it have APPLE CARPLAY? I know you said Android Tablet but you have an iphone. Does the unit have full function with your iphone?

No it does not but there is another model that is slightly more expensive that does

how is the audio for music and or via bluetooth and or for hands free calls ?

I haven’t used it for hands free calls and I don’t know why I haven’t lol. I’ll have to try it. As far as Bluetooth audio it’s great! The truck still has stock speakers so that’s the limiting factor for audio quality but it sounds as good as the stock radio with a cd

Can I connect Bluetooth from my phone for music and use the obd2 adapter for gauges at the same time?

@@derekowens8799 I just used a basic kit and yeah you just match the wiring diagram from the connector kit to the wiring diagram from the radio

@@Kjmods Oh ok, but essentially its plugged in just with a wireless connection.. I have triple gauge on the pillar already so really did not want to buy a monitor. Being able to put that on the radio screen is badass. Where did you buy the blue tooth adapter at ?

It’s an app called torque pro and it’s connected via Bluetooth to an obd2 Bluetooth plug

What are the dimensions of the face of it, I can't find that anywhere? I have an 06 and I'm wondering if it is the same size as yours. In the Amazon listing it says dual Bluetooth, do you know what that means? Could you connect your odbii and your cell phone at the same time? I want to use it for torque pro but it would be nice to listen to music or watch something at the same time

I would say double check the wiring and if still no go return it through Amazon

Got the same camera, I got pulled over it's illegal, it covers up the license plate they cant tell what state the truck is registered too

Makes sense it covers part of my yearly registration but I’ve yet to have an issue with getting pulled over. I’d imagine it varies state to state

Dude , I just need to know which one is power , illumination , memory wire , ground wire. That's all I need . Can't find the right color code match. Search doesn't even come close.
