I love your truck. I have a 67 F100 with a 240 three speed manual with manual steering and brakes. Did you document the build? I am super interested. I can’t believe how at home the engine looks in the truck. How do you turn off the traction control ? My truck was my Grandfather’s. When I was 9, I had to learn to drive it on a moment’s notice , after he had a heart attack and I was the only person there.

In my opinion, you should leave your granddads truck original, but keep it in good running order and pass it on to your heirs along with those stories. That's a cool project that he did, but ultimately, in the long run, that truck will be less valuable because of those alterations. Just a thought from someone not unlike yourself. I've had my grandfather's '65 F-100 since 1988 when I was in high school.

@@harryotaint9163 that ship has kind of sailed. He filled the radiator with water and it froze. It cracked the block , in a water jacket that let the water run into the oil pan. It was going to cost more than it’s worth. The truck has some rust and a few dents. It was used as a truck. Not awful but if I am going to fix all of that, I would like to get it to the point where I don’t have to worry about will it make a 100 mile trip.

Ive been thinking about this same swap for my 61 thunderbird. Im also here in AZ. What did this swap cost?
ill try and make a more descriptive video on the details. Its an oem mustang ecoboost engine harness that is modified to run standalone. Trimmed down to whats necessary. ECM has pats removed and then we tune to get it right in the vehicle
