The 2024 edition of the Imola GP, also known as Emilia Romagna GP, is finally here! After the cancellation of last year's race to the flood that hit this part of Italy in the GP period, for 2024 F1 is finally back at the Autrodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari here in Imola
In this video you'll find my personal highlights of the day, with some of the clips I recorded during the two F1 practice sessions I attended from Variante Gresini and Rivazza turns, including all the 10 different cars that are taking part to this 2024 F1 World Championship

You were here for a couple of years now. Would you say for example the 2021 cars sound louder than the 2023 of 2024 cars? Because idk but it looks like that

2021 was louder due to the split wastegate exhaust layout. 2022 onwards they merged back with the main exhaust

No, not louder. Same sound levels, Ferrari and Renault engines from 2022 onwards actually sounds better than 2021

@@JotaV2502nah 2021 were much louder due to the wastegate exhaust who was separated from the main exhaust so more sound

@@Future-king-of-the-pirates Not my experience. I was in Interlagos both 2021 and 2022, 2023. Same sound levels. Ferrari sounded way louder in 2022 than it did in 2021. Renault sound throatier 2022+, Honda kinda more muffled and Mercedes like it's more metallic and more raw but less high pitched. But one thing I guarantee you: the McLaren is the loudest car by far

Mhhh i don't know, the sound is pretty much the same since 2017 Honda lost a bit of his uniqueness

I think it's because this was the first European round of 2024
