Thanks for this very real feature of BGC Taguig -- yep, that place can get very hot due to all the glass and concrete. Not desert level hot though... but still hot enough to cause heatstroke. Trivia: BGC is not really a city. It's just a business district in Taguig (the real city). This means BGC is not part of our government. They don't elect their own mayor. They can't impose taxes. They have no police nor judicial authority, etc. They can hire private security but they cannot put anyone in jail -- if they catch any troublemakers, they will have to turn them over to the Taguig police. Also, despite being named "F1 Hotel Manila", both that hotel and the entire BGC area are not actually in Manila. They're in Taguig -- a city on its own 2X the size of Manila. Sadly, business names are governed by the SEC and BIR. As I know, these agencies will allow you any name you want as long as no one else has it.
