I can’t wait to race on F124. And I’m ok if the handling feels realistic per real world drivers A lot of creators and simracers asked for more realism now complaining cause they got it (albeit the curbs) Thanks for sharing this video. I liked how you went from hating it to liking it. Feels like we go thru this every game cycle maybe DLC approach would change that 🤷‍♂️

I think it’s a good change, before you could go hard on your tyres and they’d wear only 5% more than if you were cautious, now the tires wear more individually and in a realistic way how many times do we hear a driver say oh the left front is worn or the rear right is losing grip, drivers pushing too hard at the start of a stint and the tires suffering because of it, it’s realistic I think people are complaining because it’s difficult and requires learning and thinking about how you drive not like what esports drivers did in the past where to be fast you had to just throw the car about and it didn’t effect wear on the tires now you’ll actually have to think about where and where not to push rather than go 110% every lap,

@@tubularcandy812 fair, but they’re all the same people who complain that nothing changes from game to game, still calling it f1 2020 v5 and so on…

So just watching it seems the handling is kind of a mix of F1 2019 with how pointy and light on its feet the cars are and how forgiving it is. And hte oversteer on exit seems like a bit of f1 22. And those are my 2 favorite handling models in the f1 games

Most F1 drivers were always complaining that the cars in the game were too twitchy and wheel spinning at times they would easily already be full throttle in real life without any wheel spin (especially in a wet track in the game, they were always complaining how tough it was to keep the car under control). So, yes, the irl cars might be "easier" to driver than the cars in the game (of course, not considering stiffness of pedals, driving position, g-forces, etc.)

Well, given they asked Max to help on physics this year. He likes a pointy car, and now everyone (including me) is complaining it sucks. But i guess this is how a f1 car should drive then.

i guess it is a Max's driving experience simulator, pointy car but you can easily save rear slides because you are frikkin Max Verstappen. :D

Yeah well they got it wrong since throwing the steering wheel like that on every corner is the opposite of how max drives

That means we have to throw the cars into the corners in quali but be smooth from lap 1 in a race...

If your aggresive yoy gotta do soft hard, smooth style can do soft medium. Makes interesting tyre strats

EA decided to not give us classic cars but R26 Alsonso style handling

this looks shocking. When you can visually see that its not right whilst not even playing the game then there is something fundamentally wrong with this years game.

What about the laptimes ?

Looks like they just were like: every track is as sharp as Monaco. Well that’s not true so think it will just feel weird.

love the honesty. a lot of people are definitely hating on it but it seems like this handling model is more realistic. while yes it is very forgiving and unpredictable i don’t think it’ll be as bad as so many ppl are phrasing it

This handling is definitely not more realistic, esports drivers like Jarno are able to go flat through corners that shouldn’t be and can drift the car full throttle through high speed corners which looks stupid af, nothing wrong with the game having a strong front end but they need to dial it back with a patch

This is the most realistic handling and the E Sport drivers just want to drive fast but that has nothing to do with driving a real F1 Car. You driving style has now realy a big impact on your tyre wear and that's great. I hope that ea will not change the handling because of Opmeers and Co. I really liked the handling in all Beta Versions and you just must understand the car.

The handling looks awful and so arcadey. It’s so bad and so unrealistic. EA should be ashamed of themselves for releasing a game with this handling model

It looks like there is way to much grip and it also looks like the whole car sometimes leans to the side

Because clockwise tracks will wear the front left more because of all the right turns putting heavy load on front left where anti clockwise tracks will wear the front right more

How is being able to catch urself and save urself from spinning a bad thing??? Maybe you are a pro but normal ppl who play f1 games struggle alot without assists, in f1 22 it was the worst, f1 23 was a bit better but still it was extremely hard to save the car once you went into the spin if you put too much throttle, alot of ppl i know quit the game because of it being so unforgiving, they are not pro, they are regular players, not everyone is a pro, I think this is the best thing ever if they actually made it easier.

I am no pro, far from it! With no assists, i like to be challenged, i shouldn't be celebrated for overstepping the boundaries of the car, i should be penalized for it! However if this is something that gets new players involved, then it's a good thing in my eyes!

@@formulaowen That's cool no worries. 👍But I think it doesn't change the fact that the handling model has taken major steps backwards. People can "adjust" to anything. Doesn't mean it's not fundamentally bad.
