F1 24 is not only bad, it's terrible. I'm going to stay on F1 23 and skip. I still wonder how they could make such an amazing handling on F1 23, but make a terrible one on F1 24.

Awesome job my friend Beatdown with the first video of the new Formula 1 2024 gameplay. The only difference for me is at the end that they added the actual voices of the drivers. But overall the game is looking fantastic as always. Keep it up with your great videos as always and i can't wait to see your first series with the new 2024 F1 game👍🙂👍🙂😊

Thanks Haris! Yeah, lots of stuff has been simply copied over from F1 23. I do like the new way the ERS works, the battery drains faster and we have more ERS modes now. I could already notice from doing this one race that it will make the fighting & racing a lot more fun. 😄

Thanks, appreciate it! 😄 It’s honestly a steep price for a couple of upgrades. Lots of stuff has been copy-pasted over from F1 23. Although, if F1 22 is your most recent F1 game it might be worth it. If you’re still on the fence about this game, I’d advise to wait and keep your eyes out for the first sale. And if you can find F1 23 for cheap you could also try out that one instead, as I really enjoyed the handling in last year’s game and because of that the new F1 24 handling feels like a step back to me.

How do you like the handling? Does it drive okay?

With the new game I also need to find new car setups again. So the cars are obviously more difficult to drive for me right now because of that. It happens every year. The handling is a bit weird though, it doesn’t feel consistent in the corners like the grip is all over the place. But with some practice I noticed I could find some rhythm and consistency in my driving! So I guess it’s also a matter of getting used to the new handling. I do think it’s a shame they didn’t keep the handling model of F1 23, as I really liked the way that game played!

What do you think of the new driver radio after you crossed the finish line

Hopefully there’s some funny ones in the game! The one they used at the end of this race was a bit meh. I’ll also keep adding my own team radio messages to spice things up during crashes/overtakes etc. 😄

Do you still recommend it even with the ers and handling?

I really new like new way the ERS works. Having all ERS modes back is good and the way the battery drains faster now adds a lot to how dynamic the racing will be. The handling is something I'll have to get used to, I really liked the F1 23 handling. Looking at how little of an upgrade F1 24 is compared to last year, I wouldn't recommend buying it full price. If you can wait, save some of your money by grabbing it when the first sale hits.

These are my current camera settings in F1 24: Field of View = 10; Offset: Horizontal = 10; Offset: Vertical = 15; Angle = -15.

How do you manage to do full race? Im always feel sleepy after 20 laps haha, what's your secret?

I've been doing 100% races for years. It's the only way I play these F1 games nowadays! I did start out by using mid-session saves so I could do a 100% race length in multiple days. So that would be a good way to start doing 100% races.

No idea, I always play with TCS turned off. The cars in F1 24 feel very planted though, even with a low rear wing setup.

Will you add the race highlight to the video?

At the end? No. I now add replays of highlights throughout the race as they happen.

You get those pop-ups when playing the Grand Prix mode in F1 World, and you need to have a pre-race setting turned on so that your driving affects your license level.

Sadly Malaysian GP is out of calendar after 2013-2014 season so we could hardly see drivers race there again.

The first debut to F124 version with Ferrari in Belgium. As far as I observe with the premiere, it didn't fulfill my prospects and expectations with its contents, special features and major aspects. The voices and engine sounds of the automobiles are really poor-quality and tinpot. It looks like a drudgery with its simulation and semblance of the drivers. F123 version is far more realistic witt each dimension and attribute. It was totally a seamless production with its ultimate gameplay. How do you want to assess F124 version with your essential perspective and impressions in terms of the functionality, gameplay and practicality?

The car handling is a bit weird mid-corner, like the car is sliding or bottoming out or something. But other than that I quite like it! I am driving with a nice and stable car setup right now, so that I can get used to F1 24’s handling. The default setups don’t really work me, I noticed.

Max verstappen rating is still very overpower
