@@Harv796 it's the sudden twists of the wheel mid corner and from an F1 driver you wouldn't think his inputs would be like that. Especially on a high end Fanatec wheel

There's something odd with this one, no matter what wings I use and how much time I gain on turns he always takes a few tenths on the straights.

try to find the time in the first 3 corners - there is a so much faster line (3 tens). And try to gain time at corner 9 and the straight that follows. (2tens). Then just try to race a clean lap and you will beat him. Watch out for the last chicane. He was pretty fast there.

Why are there people complaining after "a few" laps they can't beat this? That's why it's called a CHALLENGE. I really liked that this actually was a challenge for me, on the other hand I'm sure there are a lot of people who won't be able to beat this time and I understand that it can be frustrating. @EA: Maybe do Gold, Silver and Bronze time-levels/rewards in the future?🤔 Gold: Livery, Silver: Helmet, Bronze: Suit. May also be motivating to try longer to get Gold...

Just cut turn 3, there's lots of videos on it, you'll gain half a second if done right. I didn't do it right and he was leading coming into the last chicane, but if you just gun it on the exit, you should be able to over take him there. I used a time trial from the leader board, but yes it is pretty tough. It's all about getting your turns spot on, never mind his straight line speed, you'll kill him in the corners.

Liked it. Was challenging.

I enjoyed this one. It forced me to dabble more with setups on a track that is quite difficult on controller. Did it though.

general question…is ghosting activated in all ranked online races? i only raced very few bc of it and would like to know if you can somehow deactivate it or if it is deactivated when you are in better rank/safety class help would be much appreciated:)

ghosting is only active in bronze. In silver its only first lap, in gold its off

They need permission of McLaren, that is why the Silverstone livery wasn't in the game, and I don't think McLaren is going to give permission for this

Out of curiosity I just watched James Baldwin's video, What Are The Similarities & Differences Between ACC & Real Life Racing? And at 19 minutes in he mentions how the lap times in ACC are faster and "pretty much every sim they're always faster than in real life." So, oh well...

I beat it after 3 laps. 45-42 wings so I had some stability and didn't lose too much on the straights. The key is simply to get better exits than him through the sector 1 straight and through the final corner, and you're pretty much set for the rest of the lap if you don't make mistakes. Lap 1: beat but invalidated Lap 2: lost by .079 after messing up the last corner Lap 3: beat by .370 If I had to rate them by difficulty so far: Leclerc > Albon > Verstappen

Using a controller these challenges are impossible! Car does not glide in and out of corners like the video using a steering wheel!!

No Ferrari wont give EA rights to use it in my team.

This particular event alone put such a sour taste in my mouth. Williams is my favorite team. They have a cool skin that you can't get unless you are a top 1% driver. 7000/250,000 people who tried succeeded. Less than 1%. I'm not top 1% driver. Why get f1 24 after that level of disappointment?

I thought this challenge was pretty easy. Not sure about others, but I could do this first try and beat it by over a second on controller. Maybe make them a bit harder in the future? But then again we want it to be possible for less experienced players.
