Ferrari F1 2010 for GT
Ferrari F1 2011 for F1 PC Version
Monaco Time trial.
I did'nt use KERS or DRS on F1 2011 as I didnt have them on GT5.

F1 2011 was only for F1 racing but GT5 was also for Rally, Nascar, ect, so of course the F1 2011 is going to be better for F1

after i look at it, its more of a mishmash of different versions
Don't forget that A) GT5's 'Monaco' is unlicensed, it's just very similar to the real track. B) The GT5 Monaco is effectively modeled after the pre-2003 Monaco as well, when St Devote and the Swimming Pool/Rascasse section was a lot tighter.
The Monaco track in GT5 is supposed to be 'fictional', much like the other city tracks in the game.
what the fuck, Monaco track in GT5 is like... Sooo wide, what the hell.

I've been on that damn track last year and believe me, the view that GT5 uses is way more realistic than the one of F1 2011...

That's not really comparison between one car and two games. It's comparison between two cars and two games

HAHAHA! The speed you could carry in 2011. It's comical to watch!
the roar of that thing between 2nd and 3rd gear :D
gt5 uses the old monaco back in the mid 80s to 2002
F1 2011 looks so real,,see the axle adjustment while turning on corners,as compared to GT5,,90degree to cornering angle on the wheels...but in GT5,both the wheels turn at the same time on the axle...these small but critical details are so important in today's games...
First clip is a GT5 Ferrari F10, second is F1 2011.
The GT5 Monaco track is way more realistic made than the F1 2011 is o_O only difference is that the track is more wide than in real life
guys remeber that f1 2011 put more detail in to the car, and gt5 but more detail into other cars.
Think thats because of the glitch set-up giving maximum grip.
I hope in GT6 PD will actually be able to get the license to model Monaco.Cote'd'Azur is a great replica (from gt4 ) but its this not the original Monaco
the physics engine for F1 seems a lot better, the steering is a lot more realistic
in GT5 he is using the 2010 spec ferrari.... look at the tires... they are Bridgestone Potenza........
excelente controle do carro. mto diferente da maioria que comete inúmeras barbeiragens e ainda posta....
The one on this is the 2010 car, also the 2010 cars were the closest to the 2004/early 90's/late80's. The 2011 cars were slower
Yeah it's a F10 for GT5 but the difference is too important. I prefer F1 2011 when we speak about F1 gameplay
gt5 wasnt built for f1 handling had to up the sensitivity on the steering wheel. logitech pro force GT
I'm pretty sure the tunnel at Monaco isn't banked like it is in F1 2011.
What he didn't tell you is that he used a setup for F1 2011.
now THAT'S what the red bull cars should've sounded like in GT6 and ST Sport!

It has something to do with a steering wheel. You can set it to a button in settings.
Yes, and as I said, GT5 weren't trying to use to 1990 track, they where trying to use the modern day track and i know it isn't called Monaco i have the game... I was simply saying had GT5 used the 90 track, they would have put '90 in the track title. However they didn't, so it's just a poor copy, at least compared to F1 2011. Yes i watched the clip and i heard them say it's wider "in places" ie. rascasse, not the whole circuit. PS. The road surface in '90 was a lot bumpier than it is today...
The Monaco circuit of the GT5 is the old one
+Tyler Torrey when we never know, we never speek... So Chet up
Exactly. If it was on PC it would be much better.
I read the title as F1 2011 vs GTA5
I hope they will get the track licence or the will make an update of this
The Ferrari F2007 and the F10 are both in GT5....
Really? I never knew the classic bumpy streets of Monaco where now as flat and as wide as Abu Dhabi...
monaco in f1 2011 look like monaco in this decade and the one in gt5 look like a 1990's monaco
How does using the wheel compare on the two games? And what wheel do you use?
What racing wheel did u use was it a logitech dfgt
Monaco is known for its bumpy surfaces, especially in the upward hill after turn 1 and the last 2 turns where numerous cars have gone off for losing tractions. GT5 does a pretty poor job at resembling the real track.
The Mirabeau corner is really difficult
Then you have the FFB which immediately disqualifies F1 2011.
Были мысли купить SPS3,больше таких мыслей нет.
@semekn2005 The thing is, these games aren't supposed to compare. If you only like F1, Get F1 2011. If you only like rally, get Dirt 3. If you just like plain racing in general, get GT5. If you are truly a gamer and a racing fan, buy all three like I did. :D They are all great games for different reasons. GT5 good a pretty damn good job on their F1 considering they only made 4 cars, including the X2010 Vettel. (Which is spectacular btw...) But the rally really kind of sucks. :/
The circuit is not the actual track, but is modeled after Monaco.

@TheUltraseal
7 жыл бұрын
What do you mean it's the 90's layout. Do you think that the roads were magically larger in those years? I've seen your other comment and you seem pretty convinced about that fact.
They have tried to make the modern circuit. The game was made in 2010, so it's obvious they would use the 2010 version. If they were using the older track, which they weren't, then they would have said "Cote d'Azure '90" like every game ever does when using a "classic" track. By that i mean they add the year. F1 2011 is the better circuit and that's an end of it.
Well, two different cars and Monaco in Gran Turismo is longer
I love the two games but I think GT5 is more realistic, the current lap record is 1 minute 13.5 I believe (for S.Vettel)

+Stimulate EU I guess he mean gt5 not gta5 :D
Is it just me or does the F1 2011 footage look sped up?
Just because monaco is a rich city doesn't mean its roads aren't going to be bumpy, stop trying to win an argument that you have already lost.
good video but isn't the gt5 one not of 2010? And the one of f1 of 2011?
What? On GT5 you use the F10 which is from the 2010 season. Then you use the F150 Italia on the F1 2011 game
GT5 Is 7 years old btw...
Ah right, would have looked more fair normally, does the glitch still work?
PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY WEREN't TRYING TO MAKE THE MODERN TRACK, and no the whole track is spot on, but the first half of the track hasn't changed that much from the 90s to 2010, but they still have made the 90s track, it's so blatant watch the clip of Sennas lap...
if you want simulating.. iRacing and rFactor, GT5 and F1 Codemasters are games
if you drove like in the GT5 on f1 2011, you would have had a massive crash
GT Monaco looks too wide and the car sounds awful.

It's the 1990's monaco
wow even the ghost fucked up that chicane
Simple: GT5: Physics,Handling,Graphics (GT5 is a SIM!) F1 2011: Track Design (F1 2011 is a fun game!)
Well then you clearly don't remember walking along the road between Massenet/Casino Square and Mirabeau. Whilst not quite perfect, F1 2011 does a far better job at conveying the cambers involved, particularly at Mirabeau - I couldn't quite believe how much camber there is there in real life. Also as an F1 veteran viewer the 'slight' artistic licence used for the circuit in GT5 means that many corner exits are way more forgiving, whilst many corners are a little out in their tightness and shape.
You seem to think it looks identical to the 1990's track, when in fairness Monaco has hardly changed over the last 30 years. What i'm saying is they TRIED to make the 2010 track but did a worse job than Codemasters did. But like i said before, the track was bumpier in '90 than '11, yet the GT5 version is as smooth at Abu Dhabi... strange. And why would people think i'm a door-nob? You probably meant knob but oh well...
GT5's course is a little different from the real one. 1.The road is too clean at 0:29. 2.No poster on the wall at 0:48 (wtf?). 3.The road is close at 0:59. 4.The pit stop line is white dots at 1:21 I would prefer GT5 for Car Sim. But not for F1. F1 is for F1 2011 only.
Gt5 ftw
That is actually the 2010 Ferrari
Not really... Not only is that clip from 1990, the track is still bumpy as hell, and the only reason why you think it's the the one GT5 use is because it's wider. Again, you're wrong there, it's simply just the difference in the camera position and the optics. More to the point, GT5 wasn't trying to use the 1990 track version at all, other wise it would say "Monaco '90 track"...
And the codemasters arcadish crap, look for that, a very weak lap where I'm sure you didn't did any huge setup work and achieved 1:10.445 like piece of cake. In Assetto Corsa you just don't have idea how hard would make a lap of around 1:16 time.

Try F1 2016
00:58 you can even see it....
Well you've just admitted that only the second half of the track, you think, looks the same. Soon you will see sense and agree it's none of it. And yes GT5 may have made the track wider than F1 2011, but that will be to make the racing more competitive for online, rather than trying to make the 1990 track layout. I've never seen the run up the hill after turn 1 so wide and smooth.
that's definitely a f1 2010, lol
nope deffo 2011. KERS and DRS
Just to let you know the track of Monaco is bumby ass hell especially on the first sector and not nearly as wide as gt5 version.
I had this car on gran trismo
Uhmmmm it's Formula 1 2010¡¡¡¡¡ Didn't see the Bridgestone Potenza wheel????
apply water to burned area...
how can you set up the car while driving in gt5???? 0_o
it's ferrari 2010
It would have been a better comparison if you had used F1 2010
i cannot do the monaco track on f1, i bump into things, any tips

Get good lol. I’m joking of course, just practice and learn the track
GT5 version of Monaco is way to wide and they missed out the over hanging hotel at the hairpin, also there is no wall at the chicane coming out of the tunnel on the real track
I can not install the Ferrari formula car in GT5.
look this automatic gearbox in f1 2011
It's a Ferrari F10.
Jesus, a bit harsh.
F1 2011 track design is for F1 cars, GT5 design for normal car.......
100% sure that is an f1 2010 car on gt5
in this comparison, F1 2011 is far better. In GT5 the F1 hasn't got the grip it should have, and the tyre screech is just terrible.
Ayrton Senna would be proud!
I've done 1:10.000 on F1 2011
It looks identical the second half of the track under the tunnel has changed loads, they definitely didn't try to make the 2010 don't be so stubborn, maybe they didn't get the bumps right but the width and layout they did because it used to be different, that's hilarious as it's spelt 'Door knob' and the word for a penis is 'nob' so looks like everything you say is wrong...

I've done 1.14.141 on GT5 with F2007.
Well you're actually all wrong because the one from gt5 is the track used in the 1980s and the one in f1 2011 is the modern one watch?v=cli2XEoca24
How do people compare Monaco F1 2011 with monaco GT5 idk but do you guys never watch F1 LOL
