F-Zero X New Lap (Custom Track pack by Relm)
this week i'm bringing the track pack "New Lap" made by Relm a few years ago. this pack is from like 2006 or earlier since it showed up shortly after the first ever track pack was made.
this pack replaces only the tracks with new tracks and a few textures in some of them.
one bad thing is that, for some reason, the final 2 tracks crash the N64. i couldn't play them at all on the console so i stopped at the 4th Joker Track. such a shame since everything was going smoothly up to that point.

That Research Lab track looks hella fun.
Does anyone else have the same video as this one to where it doesn't crash at the 5th track of the Joker Cup? I heard there is.
love that jump technique it's soo awesome how do you do that exactly? slow down up left or right and than "attack" while pushing forward?
That comeback in the final race. From the Pit area on lap 2 to the finish was one of the best racing moments in a video game I've seen. 0.006 seconds tho. If Skull hadn't blocked you and made you lose speed....

i can't remember. i think i only played it on emulator so far. i played both in emu first and then played this on console.

The Silence tracks are the best imo.
Tell me. Which is your favorite machine and why?
Oh I didn't know that the rom could not work properly until the end on a real hardware. I wonder why. That's a shame indeed.

I love this track pack - it stays in the style of the Orginal F-Zero X cups. Do you have a link to the site where these tracks are available?

Did you tried my 2nd hack called "2nd boost"? I think it's more polished than this one. :)
Did it worked well on a 64 system?

It's actually a technique people use to gain some extra speed. Due to the suicidal nature of this tactic, it's often times used at the very end of the race to try and gain a few positions, or save a few extra seconds. This tactic can be used in F-Zero X and F-Zero GX (aka, the 3D F-Zero games).

Man and that third Port Town track is really elegantly designed. Such a good vid!
