I used to feel similarly about this track, but after tons of practice and learning better machine control, this track can become one of your favorites by a mile

I still own this game since 2003 and I’ve done all races on all difficulty levels but story mode I’ve done normal and hard but very hard that’s nightmare fuel 😵

Intense. It must've taken a lot of practice.

This was one of my favourite tracks when I had this game, used to test my custom machines on this to see how fast they could get up to. That and the music's awesome.

I like this track alot!

I came across this track about a few days ago on Standard Mode and finished in first. I actually would say that it's not that hard actually. My only advice, take your time and boost when it's necessary.

I disagree with you about this track, I think this track is frickin’ awesome. I also find it relatively easy, ESPECIALLY compared to other tracks like Serial Gaps, Ordeal, Half Pipe, Lateral Shift, Drift Highway, and Slim-line Slits.

Lateral Shift isn't that bad IMO. But I agree that Trident is one of the easiest tracks in the game. Trying to slam into other racers is really risky because the road is so thin, but you can just boost for days and take it easy since the turns are so gentle and the recovery areas tend to come right when you need them. Slim-line Slits is absolutely terrible though. Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one that finds it extremely hard to place well on Drift Highway. The course isn't even hard, but for some reason the AI is GODLY there.

This is one of the hardest tracks when you're starting out and you havent mastered the game yet, since it has aboslutely 0 room for mistakes (as mistake = instant death), it is easily the track ive died the most when i started. Ofc after you get good at the game this is a fairly easy track, but really fun as you just full on blast boosts over and over, also great to pratice MT. I think the hardest track to win on master difficulty is serial gaps or panthom road.

Trident is one of my favorite tracks. At a glance, it looks like such a basic stage - just 3 almost straight lanes - but in practice I found it has a lot of nuance to it. Cool design imo. This track comes pretty late in the game. It's the first stage of the second to last cup, Diamond. The layout is simple, but then they removed the railings for added tension. This is also cool because at this point you can mainly focus on not falling off instead of juggling multiple things because of the simpler layout. It really focuses on micro movements and rock solid control of your ship. Keep her steady. Then they added different resource allocations to each lane. Some have boosts earlier, some have repair strips earlier, but all have the same resources total AFAIK. This way you can pick your optimal line depending on how fast you go or what you prefer. Lastly, they let you gamble by letting you switch lanes if you take the risk of falling off easier. Sometimes this is worth it because you can take the boost from one lane and still reach the boost that was put later on in another lane, getting ahead of the competition. As for the music, the last lap tune is so intense and contrasts the first two lap's monotony perfectly.

i actually forgot what craft you are using but it's my favourite and the track i have not played this game in years so i guess i forgot it's called the red gazelle but nice gameplay :D
