I find it funny that a lot of f-zero fans seemed to hate the announcement during the direct but now we can see that it has been a perfect introduction to the series for a large amount of people.

I've been saying this for years, there's no shortage of ideas for a new F-Zero game and they showed that perfectly with the rival system. You don't gotta win, you just gotta BEAT YOUR RIVAL! Considering Captain Falcon is a bounty hunter, it would make sense to have a campaign and overall gameplay system that revolves around seeking and destroying or outracing your selected opponents.

@@thejooper because it was based on the nes game instead of being a brand new game or at least being based in a more modern f-zero game like the gamecube one

@@thejooper They thought it was just gonna be a lame spinoff that was gonna suck as much as Super Mario Royale, however many screens that are attached to that. I forgot already...

I played F-Zero a lot as a kid, I bought it back in the day and it's difficult to explain how happy are my memories with this game. Specially when I hear the music.

Nice video. Can't play the game myself but this looks really fun! If I ever get a switch I'll try it out.

I still play f-zero on the gba quite frequently and this game alone makes me wish i had a switch. It looks like a real blast

this game is as aditive as mario 35 was. A tip to get a victory is to enter on grand prix mode and then only focus on survive until the last race. The last race have only 20 players, it is only there that I managed to win.
