2024年3月の時点で、AIを使った作品をどこまで昇華させることが出来るかをFILTER KYODAIが追求した実験作品。
どんな困難があっても、新しいことに挑戦しようとする思いを、「進め」という言葉に込めた。本チャンネル、AXDではアナログとデジタルを融合した音楽ライブを展開しているが、今回の作品においてはヒトとAIの融合を考え、制作を進めた。
楽曲制作は兄、正晃が担当し、ボーカルはヤマハ株式会社が期間限定で設立した研究スタジオVOCALOID β-STUDIOのAIボーカルプラグインVX-βの「L」を使った。 映像制作は弟、由洋が担当した。映像はMidJourney V6とGen-2 by Runwayで生成。After EffectsとPremiere ProでVFX編集を進めた。
昨今、AIによる制作がいろいろな論議を呼んでいるが、私たちクリエーターが新しいテクノロジーとどう対峙するのかをこれからしっかりと考えていきたい。

FILTER KYODAI showcases an experimental work that demonstrates the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence in generating creative content, using the technologies available as of March 2024.
The word “Advance” symbolizes our desire to embrace new challenges and push boundaries. With this in mind, we’ve been fusing analog and digital elements in live music performances. For this piece, we ventured into the realm of melding human concepts with Artificial Intelligence.
The music was composed by Masaaki Enatsu, featuring vocals generated by the AI vocal plug-in VX-β “L” from VOCALOID β-STUDIO, a research studio established by Yamaha Corporation for a limited time.
The video was created by Yosh Enatsu using generative AI using MidJourney V6 and Gen-2 by Runaway, with VFX editing done in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Given the introduction of Artificial Intelligence in recent years, there have been many debates regarding its use in the world of media production. Through this work, we aim to spark thought-provoking discussions and explore the potential for integrating AI into the creative process, paving the way for new avenues of creative expressions.
