Akumah ga bosen lihat kevin bisa berputar badannya seperti itu tapi keras jg mukulnya,pokoknya selamat buat minion.

I disagree with the comentator said, that marcus is the weakest link of the minion. They complete each other, kevin do all the net trick, and there is always marcus cover him in the back.

True. When first time I saw marcus playin I notice one thing.. he played very mature and very controlled. Whereas when I saw kevin first time he was technically better but often out of line in handling the situation.. now when kevin reached maturity stage they are best in the world

Also when kevin playing at the front Marcus had to play accordingly. He got to make sure that return of his shot was played by Kevin and this is how they complete each other.

Commentator is right . Gideon is a world-class player and one of the best current back court players with superb defense. Still, among him and Kevin, he is a step below Kevin. True, without his help , Kevin cant play well but you have to agree to the fact that, Kevin is the engine who dictates the flow of the game. Opponents try maximum to pressure Gideon hoping to make a fault. If you count the mistakes by both, Gideon’s might be higher. I am an average player and Gideon and Kevin will always be my favs but in doubles, there will be always a weaker player and here it is Gideon. Just my Opinion.

I feel like kevin hasn't find the perfect balance yet in his game, I mean sometimes he want to playing it fast all the time that it cost him point because he make an error. once he know what shot to play best (when to play fast when to just play block), then they would be even more dominating.

That remarkable Kevin's ballerina smash is always be one of the most thing I want to see everytime I watch their match 😂

It's ok to do it in doubles because you had your partner to cover up and the court is wider. It needs a lot of balls and skills to do it in single game because you can't see the shuttle immediately.

@@mim6744 coz dipertandingan ini Ong banyak bikin salah, dan kulihat Teo cukup profesional sampai diakhir pertandingan meskipun kalah tapi tidak emosi bahkan masih dgn cukup gentle to touch congratulate to Markus.. Sikapnya ke Ong pun tdk emosi, salut dgn Teo satu pemain muda yg patut diperhitungkan 👍

minions, the never want to try to master each other, they just really complete each other. I never see gideon or kevin gives advise to each other if one of them doing something wrong in the middle of the match. what an A team. Bravo.

The Commentator said "Gideon is the weaker link" . How he got to that conclusion is beyond me . May be Marcus is a bit slower than Kevin in reflex and footwork, but in this game you need more than those things to win. Take for ex. Gideon's hard hitting, well directed smashes and his mind blowing service return . He is just as good as Kevin for the partnership.

@@ladls775 it doesn't mean Gideon is a weak player, he is a very good like the other high rank players. he's just "weaker" than Kevin. U have to play badminton first girl... an then u get the point. Yeah they complete each other in this game I know it.. but if I'm in attacking mode, face to face to this guys, I'll choose Gideon. I know I'll lose sooner hehe.. but check what happened in their latest defeat to chinese pair in BWF Tour Final 2018, SF China Open 2018 . But Minion is still my fav

Pada saat Skor 15-15 Si komentator bilang: Indonesian seperti kemarin saat melawan Goh Tan , pada angka 15 akan membuat beberapa angka berturut-turut untuk memenangkan pertandingan. Malaysian perlu waspada di saat ini. Kita lihat saja. Ternyata prediksi komentator benar, saat point 15-15, skor yang tadinya selisih 1 terus, langsung berubah jadi 19-15. Kemudian 19-16. Lalu Malaysia kena fault dari service judge. Saat 20-16, entah gimana cara Marcus serve, shuttlecock seperti berputar sehingga return dari Malaysian keluar lapangan.

MD Malaysia kurang tenang. Mereka terburu-buru ingin ambil lead sehingga saat Gideon kasih cut spin serve mereka dah keburu ngambil di atas. Mestinya tunggu koknya turun dulu biar stabil, toh kalau Kevin yang di belakang, smash baliknya ga sekencang Gideon.... Teorinya begitu... Tapi pas pertandingan apa hendak dikata kalau masalah mental... :)

​42:36 When playing against Kevin in front play, it is important that YOU DO NOT SEND SLOW SHUTTLE EVER! Thinking that it's ok to send half drive in his backhand side is very wrong, although it is a very viable strategy against other MD. He got plenty of reaction to understand that the shuttle is very slow that he can do 360 degree jump while performing backhand smash... Practically dancing in the air because it's just soooo slow... Just look at it, the shuttle is so slow Kevin changed grip from forehand to backhand because it would be way coooool to do that (and technically the angle is better if done correctly). I think Goh/Tan challenged them better in SF, when in front play Tan always make sure that the shuttle drives very fast so Kevin can only block. While Goh make sure if he can't drive past Kevin, he clear the shuttle way higher than Kevin so there's no way he can cut it downwards, be it in backhand or forehand. Seriously, Goh/Tan should play in the final instead... Ong/Teo plays like they don't have the necessary strategy. What I like from Goh/Tan yesterday in SF is they have the correct mindset, but sometimes the executions were outplayed by Minions and they were forced to make errors.

Goh/Tan pengalaman lebih baik tapi fisik dan kecepatan ga sebagus juniornya ini, ibaratnya kayak Hendra/Ahsan vs Fajar/Rian. Satu menang taktik satu lagi menang agility.
