福井の穴場の名所と言いますか、個人的には福井で1番のおすすめスポットです。 この映像の場所から少し離れた所に、当時の僧たちが住んでいた住居跡群が残っています。 石畳の道や石垣や堀などが発掘され、まだ全容は解明されていないそうですが、 それでも当時の世界にタイムスリップしたかのような感覚を感じられます。 歴史好きにはたまらない場所のひとつです。

苔寺といえば京都を思い出しますが、福井にもこんな優雅な苔寺があるのですね。まるで柔らかな緑の絨毯のようです。綺麗な水が豊富にしみ込んでいるのでしょう。石段や灯篭にも苔が育っているのにびっくりです。木漏れ日があふれる参道の杉並木も壮大で、天を見上げて深呼吸したくなりますね。お蕎麦と苔寺を求めて福井に出かけたくなりました。いつも素敵な映像をありがとうございます。

こんばんわ いつも こちらの動画を見ていると心が落ち着きます。 平泉寺白山神社 そうですね、ここも歴史が古く始まりは平安時代ですね。 幾度となく戦乱に巻き込まれて 比叡山の末寺にもなってますね。源頼朝がいた頃は、ものすごい規模を誇っていたらしいですよ。僧兵なんかも たくさんいて、寺領8000石 木曽義仲の倶利伽羅峠の戦いにも この寺が出てきますよ。その後も時代とともに戦乱に巻き込まれ、戦国時代は、越前の朝倉氏の傘下に入っていますね。その後、朝倉氏滅亡して一向一揆で灰になったそうです。 今の姿になったのは、豊臣秀吉が復興してからです。でも その昔8000石あった寺領も330石まで減らされ建物も少なくなりました。 恐れていたんでしょうね。 明治時代になり、廃仏毀釈の神仏分離令で寺号を捨て白山神社となり、さらに寺の建物が解体されたと聞いています。 こういった、幾度となく戦乱に合い悲しい歴史のある場所は、今となっては逆に美しい場所であったりもします。 大切にしたいですよね✨

福井県まで足を延ばされたんですね。いつかは北海道にもお越しいただける事を願っております^^ この神社の創建が養老元年、西暦でいえば717年という、一体いつなんだ？と思うくらい歴史のある神社なんですね。 概要欄の説明にもあるように芝生のように一面敷き詰められた苔の絨毯があまりにも美しくまた神秘的な雰囲気を醸し出してます。まだまだ日本には自分の知らない名所がたくさんあるんだなと痛感させられる一本でした。 素敵な動画をありがとうございました^^

Good morning, Anna! Magic place! I think I can hear the birds! I think it smells like wet soil, grass, flowers, trees. Wood. I love these trees. Looking at I seem to be the souls of those who didn't want to leave there. If I were in this place I'd like to hug the earth, lie on the grass face down, then i'd turn around and look at the sky. Then I'd close my eyes, feeling the strain grow out of me. Then I'd put my arms up to the clouds. I've been made goosebumps. Then maybe I'd feel a fairy kissing my forehead. Oh, my! Thank you! Splendid and gorgeous work yet again - well done. I love how some of the Tori gates are pretty much just raw natural wood - very rustic! I bet though that filming that place at this time of year would be pretty brutal, between the bugs and humidity! Thanks for braving the elements to make this video!

The grounds are so peaceful and tranquil. The Moss Temple, that's a good name for it, there's a lot of it there. The setting is very stunning as well. Seems to me at the end of the video that you have something else to show us but the video ends. ??? Thanks as always.

Stunningly beautiful Shrine! Great video as always! Wow it is very old Shrine being founded in 717 AD ! It is even mentioned in Heike Monogatari! Now I have to add it to my growing list of Shrines to visit!

Here I am struggling to grow 2 inch square of moss to add to a terrarium. And then this shows up in my KZread feed! Now I have serious moss envy. As usual, beautifully shot. In fact, your videography is so amazing that at the 2:42 mark, you can see the thread of a spider between two trees.
