Top of the league gets the most TV money, prize money, sponsorship (less than 25% from the Gulf). Add an academy that's sold £400m of players you've never heard of, and you realise that they don't need steroids. Nb. the charges don't affect years after 2018, so why you're talking about the last decade is a mystery.

Very arrogant ......but I think it was the right reaction to the journalist's question

They didnt ask if they like the club ,but the football team. Its difficult to dislike the team ,if you like football ,even Madrid went through in the Champions League ,probably they are the best team in the world ,playing the best football overall. Whether the club bent the rules ,thats another issue. Also Arsenal could have won the league ,if the refs and VAR didnt take away points from them.Last season was even worse. Again whether its accident ,by chance ,or done on purpose ,its up to debate ,but it didnt really happen with City through the season. Nevertheless their football team is great.

​@rgbwr Just in case you missed it: 54 of the charges relate to City failing to report accurate financial information (which based on contract with PL they'rerquired to do every season), 35 for failing to cooperate with the Premier League's authorities (this was filed in 2019 after many years of being stone-walled by MC legal reps for not cooperating with terms of contract), 14 for failing to provide accurate information on player and manager payments (independent sources revealed that filed player wages were above what MC was reporting the PL), seven for breaches to the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) and five relating to breaching UEFA's FFP rules. Unfortunately, they're unlikely to get convicted because since the UK left the EU, the UAE practically owns your politicians. The PL is dead.

@rgbwr The majority of the charges are related to not providing financial information. Why would an innocent party not want to share that information and then stall the courts for 7+ years to prevent disclosure of that information? In the context of the scale of corruption, it's highly unlikely that any court will convict them of the charges, so you'll likely get legal exhoneration. The UK government is so far up the UAE's ass in terms of infrastructure and defense contracts that, barring a miracle, much of the incriminating evidence will never see light. I get your investment in the club, but it's going to kill the credibility of the league if anyone besides MC fans still trusts anything about the league

I am a Liverpool fan. And even though they gave us a lot of pain even with 90+ points not winning the league, and them being financially corrupt , I hate them as a whole. Ya you're right,both arsenal and united done it in way better fashion, arsenal won 3 league titles including an unbeaten season, united won 8 titles in 11 years. What justice...Justice will be when City take PL to courts and get them to pay to City for damaging City reputation...City are the best run Football Club in the World...FFP was bought to protect the elite Clubs in massive debt and earning out of those Clubs..Man City owner not only invested in the Club but the people of Manchester....justice is when you have great owners and supporters Karma looks after them. During the last 5 years Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea have out spent City but what have they achieved...my last question is why has PL taken 10 years to file these allegation if City were cheating from 2009 onwards...what about justice to all those innocent children and women killed by Americans and America owners what have you got to say....
