In regards to Jamar talking about his fathers absence, i feel the lack of having a father in the home is the primary reason black men are treated so bad in american society. I am a white man, parents weren't together, mom had my brother with a man other than my father a few years before me. Although my father was a functioning alcoholic, my mother sent me to live with him around 3yrs old. My older brother was already in juvie due to our mother working 2 jobs, and no father. Although i grew to hate my father growing up for being so hard on me, I came to appreciate my father dearly for keeping me in line, and showing me how a man carries himself. I have been with my black wife for 10 years now, her family is the complete opposite of mine. They stayed together and are highly educated. Me joining her family has been the single most significant aspect to me being successful in business, and in life.

Bobby Dee It’s the “Great White Hype Syndrome.” This society is waiting for one of their own to perform at a high level so they can celebrate and blow him out of proportion. Eminem isn’t the first rapper to show up with a gimmick and some skills but when he does it’s looked as “unique,” “special,” and “great.” The masses of people that look like him and can relate to his message are white so they support him. The media sees him as “Extremely Palatable.” In fact I find him joking about himself and this same topic in some of his music. It’s not racial but it is.... Ultimately it’s being aware of the world we live in. Fact that the media crowns who they chose and the radio plays the same seven songs all day and everyday should open your eyes the fact that its being controlled. Peace.
