yes this is how soapy dramas work, i don't usually watch thai/kdramas but I get the exaggerated concept and yet, I still appreciate how they managed to depict the characters' decisions accurately. Mon's keeping the secret out of guilt for betraying kirk (mon &her morals 🤡) and lying in sam's face despite saying they have to trust each other, then Sam having lots of trust issues; trying to open up/be vulnerable to someone for the first time yet mon was being taken away by two dudes (in her reasonable paranoid pov) so she's lashing out on mon yet regretting & hating herself for the things she said. it's hard to watch fr 💀

When there is a crying scene Becky (Mon) is actually crying in real life.The director just tells her to imagine not having Freen (Sam) in her life anymore, and that causes Becky to cry since her a Freen are really close (seen by the chemistry in the show).

Welcome back Elise it's been a while. My thoughts in no specific order- - We all wanted to witness top Mon but none of us were prepared for it (I'm waiting for your reaction to next episode) - Their "love making" scenes are not choreographed so whatever we see on our screen is Freen&Becky's interpretation of what the characters were feeling like in those moments and that's why it looks so natural ❤ Including Freen's tongue during the office makeout session (she was so embarassed when they were reacting to it lol) - I was so mad at Sam for throwing all that bullshit at Mon without actually listening to what she had to say but at the same time it was partially Mon's fault too for lying straight to her face when she knows it's not easy for Sam to trust people! - When the episode came out Becky revealed she had no memory of this happening but while watching the episode she noticed she said "teerak" (darling in Thai) and i love you to Sam during the heat of the moment when they were having sex 👀. - And no Sam has never kissed/been intimate with Kirk their relationship is a mere agreement (atleast from Sam's side). That's why she hesitates/gets nervous when Mon tries to initiate things in the next ep (in the pool) because she hasn't done any of this before. - Sam's severe headache and nosebleed are related to a condition which is revealed in the next part of the novel. I'm glad we don't have to go through that story line. I might not be 100% accurate but Sam basically had a brain tumor and the surgery leads to her losing a specific part of the memory including all the memories she had with MON 😢. - If you want to watch more of the Poki (i don't know how it's spelled) game you can look up Freen and Becky WinkWhite interview 😜. Haha you are so me when i first watched Gap. My American brain broke. They are suppose to be 28 (Sam) and like 21 (Mon). But they act like 15 year olds. I find it super cute now and chalked it up to a cultural thing but when i first watched it i was just thinking "Are they for real?"

Actually, you're right. it's Yuri. It's asian version of wlw but more in cartoonish, camp-style or comical. Mon is semi-accurate depiction of asian 21-22 yrs old woman althrough it's overly exaggerated which is intentional. The series is "intentionally" cringe and somewhat satirical about "useless lesbians." It's popular archetype of lesbian character. Lol. About Sam, it's trauma response. That's why she's still in "child phase." She was restricted by the bubble she was unable grow out of so yeah, she's still same as she was when she was 15.
