NOTE: @04:54 to clarify, in the 1812 era, only the FIRST battalion in each regiment would carry the regimental eagle and flag. The remaining battalions would instead carry a 'fannon' which was mostly a single solid color with limited designs. Of course, quite a few battalions 8gnored this and continued to carry their regimental eagle along with the FIRST battalion - this was especially the case in the peninsuler campaign. NOTE: @06:16, base size is 30mm square for all infantry, artillery, and cavalry. NOTE: @08:25, although I may be working more than one project at once, I do NOT count time I spend on these other projects. The ammount of time I spent on this project alone is indicated in the video.
Excellent looking figures. Super cool army. Look awesome.

These 10mm are amazing Fritz! I really like the heftier art style combined with the bright colours for the Napoleonic uniforms! Just catching up on some of your updates :), been busy with my studies and work from home , sorry I haven't been commenting, but hopefully I'll have more time now during Christmas and in the New Year! So excited to see the 12mm WWII stuff you mentioned and hopefully I'll be able to catch your streams! Merry Christmas and hope you have a safe and happy New Year!

This is so awesome Kurtis! I have been very tempted by 10-15mm Medievals lately. Somehow I missed this video. Glad I came back to it!!

I love those little 10mm French. I have lots more of these to do as well this year - Russians, Prussians, and more French! Thanks, Dan. ~K
Excellent work
Well done Kurtis, the figures look great, and it’s good to see them with full basing, a real treat. 12mm WWII, you love the small scales.

Thank you, Paul. The thing about the smaller scales is that they look so impressivewhen all is said and done. A challenge to paint, but worth it in the end. Lots more on the go. See ya next week in the Paint Along. Take care, my friend. ~K
Fantastic project, very impressed with the painting on such a small scale, all the best Garry

Wow! Really cracking job. Cheeky question - what is the blue you used for the infantry? thanks :)

I used a mix of mostly Prussian Dark Blue (Vallejo) and Ultra Marine Blue (Army Painter). Thanks, Killington. ~Fritz

@@Forge_n_Brush Thanks for that. J
Can you mix old glory and magister militum??
@Forge_n_Brush

MM are much bigger than the OG models. All in all, they wouldn't mix well in the same unit.
What type of handle do you use to paint the miniatures
@Forge_n_Brush
3 жыл бұрын
I place all of the models on strips of card. I hold them fast to the card with some white glue. They pop off easy enough once painting is completed. Nothing special. This fits my style when painting large masses of models - say 5-10 models a strip. ~Frita
