F/A-18C Desert Storm Scud Hunt | 4K 60FPS Amazing Graphics DCS World

Ойындар

Step back in time to the heat of Operation Desert Storm in this immersive Digital Combat Simulator mission. Join us as we take to the skies in an F/A-18 Hornet, departing from a US Navy carrier in the Persian Gulf on a mission over the skies of Kuwait.
As the engines roar to life and the carrier deck fades into the distance, our F/A-18 heads towards Kuwait, the scene of intense aerial combat during the Gulf War. Our primary objective: to conduct a Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD) mission to neutralize Iraqi air defenses.
Approaching Kuwait, we locate an SA-2 surface-to-air missile site threatening coalition aircraft. With precision, we launch two AGM-88C HARM missiles from a safe distance, silencing the threat and clearing the airspace for our coalition forces.
But our mission is far from over. Pushing deeper into enemy territory, we locate and destroy two Iraqi SCUD missile launchers, crucial targets posing a threat to regional stability. With laser-guided precision, we release a GBU-16 bomb, obliterating the launchers and achieving our primary objective.
As we fly over the dramatic landscape of Kuwait, marred by towering oil fires, the gravity of the situation becomes clear. The devastation of war is evident below as we press on to complete our mission.
With targets destroyed and objectives accomplished, we make our triumphant return to the carrier deck.
Experience the intensity and realism of aerial combat in DCS as we recreate Operation Desert Storm. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more thrilling military simulations.

Looks like an awesome mission. Would love to play, quick tip! Don’t mean to be too “🤓” but irl, carrier strikes groups so spread much farther apart. Having them close looks dope and cinematic but for realism, (if that’s what you’re going for in this sense) there are some good images online that I base my csgs off of in my missions!

I want to know what the key commands are for camera angles like this. I can’t get on the deck with the camera for some reason.

For the deck cameras, I mostly use the so called „supercarrier cam“ (don’t remember the keybind right now) or by selecting the carrier on the F10 map and using the F4 cam. Hope this helps!

Hey, just a few quick questions. Do you use HDR for your videos, and what software do you use to record? Thank you!

I record my videos with OBS and yes, as you guessed, I use HDR. Also, I do some color correcting in Premiere Pro, my go-to editing software.

    was that easy??

  • @BingoFuel07

Since I was confident that my HARM missiles would out-range the SA-2, it was fairly easy. When you learn to use the systems properly, you have it off pat. The carrier landing was probably the most difficult part of the mission, since it requires a lot of concentration. Thank you for the question! 😁
