@@GM-fh5jp not necessarily.. well, in the best circumstances it is true the best aircraft of any military will usually be flown by the best pilots, but the overall quality of pilots is important. Russia for example, for the longest time couldn't afford to give their pilots as many training hours in flight as would be needed (I don't know how it's nowadays) while the U.S continuously faces pilot shortage, causing sometimes to accept pilots that aren't the cream off the top. Iraq back in the day, had two very advanced aircraft, one from Russia one from France, they received training in both France and Russia, but these to countries both said that well over half of the pilots they've trained wouldn't pass the testing in the respective nations airforces, Iraq used them anyway. Pilot shortage, financial restrains, lowered criteria etc. all things that could get you sub-par pilots.

@@BriGandCat , на су-30 другие движки. это немного другой самолет по концепции. это не чистый повелитель воздушных боев. он более универсальный, что не нравится военным. в армии не любят су-30. его для индусов делали, просто вынуждены были себе его делать тоже. сейчас наконецто начали делать су-35. вот су-35 это тот же 57 только фюзеляж без применения технологий уменьшения заметности. заметь я не говорю за весь самолет. т.е. все остальное для уменьшения заметности там есть - это покрытие фонаря и системы РЭБ и углепластик в корпусе и особый радар. ну и главное - новый движ . он будет превосходить амеров и по крейсеру и по максу. да и ал-41ф1 не особо уступает. у него тоже есть сверхзвуковой крейсер. может на 200 км поменьше, но по дальности полета он превосходит ооочень прилично, а новый двжи будет еще дальше лететь где то на 35%. да и сроду не было у амеров такого крейсера .... и тяговооруженность у нас больше. су-57 больше веса берет. о чем они вобще тут балакают??? у нас внутри 4 ракеты средних ВВ, в боковых отсеках еще по 1 спрятаны. и под крылом еще 8 штук. или около 40 бомб. у амеров же внутри только ВВ малой дальности аим-9х. и всего 4, у нас же малой дальности помещается 10 штук внутри и еще 8 снаружи. у них 12 бомб того же класса (у нас 40). + у нас порядка 8 АФАР по всему корпусу, включая афар заднего обзора, боковые вниз и боковые в стороны и верх и назад. у них только 1 афар + у нас есть ОЛС и нашлемные целеуказатель ( еще с 70-х годов) , у них нашлемник только на ф-35 для израиля появился и то еще пилоты говорят что не работает нормально.... теперь только ждем начала серийного производства. конечно по 1 в год это никуда не годится. нужно по 1 в месяц хотя бы собирать. видимо есть то, что мы не знаем......думается мне, что ждут иностранных заказов. и уже были утечки , что как минимум одна страна хочет уже купить.

The Su-57 is not ready, it now uses old engines of the 4th generation, which were modified to the characteristics of the 5th. The new 5th-generation engines designed for it have only recently begun flight testing. Therefore, these planes are not enough. And therefore, its known flight characteristics do not reflect the whole picture of the aircraft. Do not worry about the number of Su-57, soon the engines will be ready and the aircraft will be put on the conveyor.

The SU-57 is not a 5th generation stealth fighter, it is at best a 4.5 generation fighter. The F-22 is over 20 years old and is still far more advanced than it's Russian counterpart. Russia has always trailed the US in military technology, and will probably produce it's first 5th gen fighter 10 or so years after the US introduces it's first 6th gen fighter, then try to BS the rest of the world that it's better than it's US analogue. Russian military equipment is overhyped garbage. Always has been, always will be.

the russian missiles in any case screw the F22, Americans are known for the jets while Russians for their missiles. The SU-50 is also not alone as if the fight takes place around Russia as usual as opposed to the US which typically fights very far away from home, you would be expecting some S400s around defending russian skies. I am just saying that apart from the amazing SU50 the S400 is an awesome reinforcement. However for now the F 22 is better proved because the Americans have more experience on it. Russians however have the Tu160 the fastest strategic bomber in the world, the AN124 which is the largest strategic serial produced transport. They have RS-24YARS the best mobile MIRV nuclear system in the world. As you see I really admire Russia, but sometimes things need to be admitted such as the Japanese and Korean having the best destroyers, the Russians again for their cruisers and submarines. @@mandalore1st226 Russians are known for their missiles because their aircraft are shit. They need long range missiles with "big numbers" because they can't rely on their aircraft to take out AWACS. They have high range air defenses because they can't count on their aircraft to achieve that goal. The most critical part of missiles is their guidance and Russian electronics are fucking garbage. The great irony is that your whole argument derives from the fact that Russia and the Soviets before that were compensating for inferior aircraft. And no, the S-400 won't achieve magic, especially considering there has been decades of improvements against air defenses. Just look at how Syria has been unable to stop anyone from bombing them.

The F-22 was a brand new design that revolutionized fighter aircraft design and requirements, while having incredible stealth and avionics. For comparison the Su-57 doesn't revolutionize anything, and struggles to compete with the F-22 requirements decades later. The F-22 had a groundbreaking AESA that's actually still more impressive than that of the Su-57. It also has a much more advanced stealth design. So no, the Su-57 is just loose competition 20 years too late. Also Russians are fucking poor, of course it'll cost less there. Imagine if the average Lockheed Martin employee was paid $10k a year, how much do you think they could drop the prices?

i mean... the su57s "stats" are what the russians say they are.... while the f22 is actually combat proven and other nations really have seen its true power... a fucking plane designed 25 years ago... the russians are so fucking far behind its insane. the fact that we are even debating that the f22 is the greatest in the world (which it is) note that its a fucking almost 3 decade old aircraft and still number 1 with barely any modern updates.... the f35 is a whole other topic and can do more than any other aircraft on the planet atm, imagine whats coming next. Daniel Kurtović it’s ok comrade Daniel S-400 is good defensive SAM, but 2 problems. 1. It still won’t detect marble size f22 and or it may detect softball size F35 that will be jamming its radar system. 2. The F35 will link up the data to the F22’s computer giving the pilot all the information he/she needs to fire a ASM down its throat. Either way the S-400 and S-500 will be rendered useless.

@@vitalygoji 1) Su 57 radar can detect targets 400km away. 2) Detection alone is not a recipe for a kill of an enemy aircraft, because you actually need to shoot it down, not just detect it, defeating countermeasures and making sure that a missile can reach the target. 3) If you honestly believe that an aircraft that costs 35 million dollars would be developed and produced to only be able to fight ww2 era aircraft you're an idiot.

We will never know which is better unless they are in combat against each other, which I hope never happens. I'm an American, but I love both of these gorgeous birds! We should be ALLIES and brothers and sisters, not enemies! Anyway neither country is about to release the true capabilities of either of these magnificent planes..we know what is released publicly only. I will say that perhaps the American pilots get a lot more training and flight hours due to budget constraints but I don't even know that for sure. Much respect to Russia :-)

SU-57 is not a true 5th generation fighter. It is a 4.5 generation fighter. The F-22 is a true stealth plane. As for which one is better. Hopefully the world will never find out.

Кукишь Rerbitd It’s a lot better than the POS Su-57. There’s a reason why Russia’s long time ally India backed out of the partnership, and that is because it’s a complete failure. Russia cannot find even one outside customer, while the F-35 keeps adding more. From situational awareness, to sensor fusion, artificial intelligence, stealth, etc., the F-35 is far better of the two. You can’t even find a video of the Su-57 shooting it’s guns or missiles in flight. It literally has no future as Russia cannot finish it on its own, and there are no exports.

I love both. If I was king of the world Russia & USA would be the closest allies the world has ever seen.

Most of the people don't understand that Russia and United States have different doctrines, and both of these aircraft reflect that. Americans carry far more operations around the world compared to the Russians, so they need stealthy jets for sneaky operations. In an all out war, stealth has a little use. The Russians know this. Russians don't need to carry out sneaky operations, they will take their enemy head on. This is why SU57 focuses on frontal stealth. On thing should be noted here that even in terms of frontal stealth f22 is superior. But su57 has just enough frontal stealth that would force the enemy to close the gap. And in a close encounter, su57 is likely to win since it's more agile and maneuverable. Anyway, both of these machines are just simply amazing.

You're not comparing a F-22 to a Su-57 but to a T-50 prototype that lacks the enhancements and general completeness of the serial builds. Even China’s knockoff of our Stealth planes are better than the Su-57. The F22 is going to come out on top. It's faster, stealthier, and has better on-board electronics. The F22 is super-cruising near the SU57's top speed. That's going to be a major issue intercepting an F22 or being able to get away from an F22.

No, you cannot. There are at most 10 prototypes flying. No matter what is the stated cost, Russia can’t mass-produce them.

The SU-57 is not a 5th generation fighter. It is a 4.5 generation platform. It looks to me as if the Russians tried to copy the YF-23 and failed. Badly.

@@tolmie1141 when Raptor sees Su-35 in the sky, he will lost all fuel because of scare. Just one division of S-400, and raptors is going to be in existence in US history books only!

Throughout air force history, it has been proven the superiority of the pilot, not the plane is what ultimately results in a win or a loss!

@@nickl.3386 I'm sorry, but my extremes were both related to aviation. your extremes are just too much lol. a guy from the streets won't even know how to turn on the APU, let alone fly, but my instance was taking a mustang and a bison. I think it is a very valid argument. I'm not saying skill of a pilot doesn't matter, believe me it does, but having a more superior aircraft DOES give you an Upper Hand, u can't deny that

Dont compare this 2 beast yet we still have no idea or clue how powerful is Su 57 But im sure for 1 thing it is made to counter and overcome F 22 and F 35 Weaknesses.

Reality check. American fighter's capabilities are underrated. Russian jets are always overrated. It has been this way since the beginning of time. In real battle scenarios air superiority belongs to the 22. There is no comparison. Stop trying to create competition or an "exciting" comparison.

Su 57 is better in all characteristics... better radars (no US airplane is stealth for that radars), better engines, better flight performances, superior rockets and better and crazier pilots! Greetings from Serbia! P.S. in 1999. when we shot down F117A we used to say "Sorry, we didn't know it was invisible."

Sukhoi 57 can shoot all day long without seeing F-22 until they run out of missiles.... and being shot down.

The DeathTM Lies, all lies. Russia has no export orders for the Su-57. The simple fact that you have to lie tells me that you know yourself that it’s a failure. Just use common sense. India is an ally of Russia’s, and it backed out of the partnership citing numerous flaws. It wasn’t just minor problems that can be easily fixed, but the overall design of the aircraft, it’s engines, avionics, etc. If India invested millions into the project and got nothing out of it, other nations sure aren’t going to waste their money on it.

@@Thetequilashooter1 Algeria Commanded 14 SU-57,14 SU-34 and 14 SU-35 with an option for two escadron in the future when MiG-29 and SU-30 will be decrepit and Russia started commanding 12 models for testing the final version. Poutine Has proposed the SU-57 to Erdogan and Xi jinping .... India is not interested now

The DeathTM Got proof you’re back up your words? I didn’t think so. Facts are that the there are no foreign orders for the Su-57. Too many major problems remain. Heck, you cannot even find any proof of it shooting its guns or air to air missiles in flight or dropping guided weapons.

maybe u think like ios vs android cause some tech more new than f22 but Raptor still good cause software :)

The SU-57 is larger, less stealthy, and less capable than the F-22. The other thing is that Russia only built 11 SU-57s and lost 5 in Ukraine meaning they only have 6 left. The SU-57 is 1,000 times more visible to radar than the Raptor.

Now, Su-57 is the best

F-35 PROBLEMS SLOW: because it has relatively poor supersonic aerodynamics. By trying to make it a one-size-fits-all fighter, and include VSTOL capabilities for the US Marine Corps, they had to widen its fuselage to allow for the ducted fan. LOGISTICS ISSUES: Problems with jet's ALIS System for the F35s. All data is being transmitted to US by ALIS System. Meaning allies using F35s have security issues with their data being transmitted to US. The system doesn't show accurate inventory of parts too causing missions to be cancelled. CABIN PRESSURE PROBLEMS: Cabin is over pressurized leading ear and sinus pain to pilots that fly F35s. This is worrisome. This has caused mission aborts in more than 2 pilots. SUPERSONIC FLIGHT ISSUES: in F35B and F35C If plane reaches Mach 1.3 for sustained periods at high altitudes, they sustain damage on their tails. Both on structure and stealth coating. BATTERY FAILURE: In cold weather environments. This was noticed in squadrons located in Alaska, causing mission aborts. Without ALF engines and without hiding it's thermal/heat signature, Su-57 is still not a comprassion for F-22. But if Russians solve their engine problem they can catch Americans in 5 th gen marketing.

I want to give the SU-57 credit where it’s due, but when this woman forgets to mention the Raptor has thrust vectoring just like the opposing aircraft, and a massively superior radar cross section to the SU-57, I begin to realize this video is likely highly biased.
