1. The Rafale and the Super hornet were both fielded at the same time. Rafale M came into service in 2001, and so did the Super Hornet. The Super Hornet is not merely an improvement over the legacy hornet, and is instead a much larger and more powerful aircraft with a totally new airframe design. Pretty much everything you listed there is a capability the super hornet already has, and the Super Hornet's larger more powerful radar with more TR modules is also better than the RBE2. How exactly is the super hornet outdated?

Rafale M is 10.9meters wide and Vikrant has lifts 10 meters wide so can't access the hangers and it will cost more and have less weapons choices. But both aircraft are capable.

Hey by the way, there is a Navy version of the Dassault Rafale that was made for the French Navy, able to do Catapult lunch too.

I think the A variant was only 1 jet built as a demo plane and the C variant is used in the airforce and exported in the world just as the B one. Somethink like A: demo jet, B and C ground based jets in service , same for M , just carrier based

​@@zexceed-x2946the Rafale A version was the first type with a poor radar , the B version is the 2 seat variant. The M version is single seat Marine ( carrier type ) today we see most versions are upgraded to the F3R standard and the F4 version is just becoming available.

Rafale maximum speed is 2223 km/h or ( 1,814 Mach ) Supercruising 1715 km/h or ( 1,4 Mach ) Rafale F3R was also bought by Croatia. I can't wait to see these beauties in the Croatian sky again.

Yeah but at low altitudes F18 is faster , and I am sure that RAFALE can’t go faster than MACH 1.15 at low altitude or F18 can easily go to MACH 1.20 or more

For a medium weight aircraft, the Dassault Rafale has an impressive empty weight/max. takeoff weight ratio : it can carry 1,5 times its own weight when the F-18 "only" carries 1 time its own weight

Difficult to get a price on Rafale M as no sales have been made and less than 50 of the type built. Rafale F3R cost India $255m per aircraft so the F4M version won't be cheap. The Super Hornet should be cheaper due to quantities of production.

Neither of them are a good deal. We can take them on lease.Want.Indian Government is looking to acquire Rafale M for indigenous INS Vikrant we'll start receiving them 4 years from now by that time we will be able to manufacture TEDBF,AMCA as well so what's the use

C not 6000 puts 600 and especially the F/A 18 super hornet ey on all they do not compare the number because the 2 countries have a dispute with different objectives and different means. And the video is 2 years old so the planes were had improvements Yes the burst had the arrival of the mesile meteor which is French that the Americans who will soon use on the F35 and also the burst had the arrival of its new standard version F4 which put a new radar 3x more efficient than its old one and the F 18 is nothing because the USA is focusing on the 6th generation or the correction of F35 which cost very expensive around 44 billion and I did not talk about cruise missiles like storm shadow which bore fruit in Ukraine we must understand that France and the USA are very different France wanted a multi role aircraft that can do all the F 18 shines it can do almost indicate the potition of enemy troops on the ground for the A10@@valstrax_shadow
