F-16 Viper Ground Show & Demo 2022 Charleston Air Expo
Rebel flies her third air show ever at the 2022 Charleston Air Expo/Titans of Flight. Shot on Saturday, April 9.
The Viper Demo Team is the US Air Force's single ship demonstration team for the air force's premier 4th generation fighter jet, the Lockheed Martin/General Dynamics F-16C Fighting Flacon, known by the pilots as the "Viper". The Viper Demo team is based at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, where the air show took place. This was Shaw's first air show in 6 years.
The new demonstration pilot is Capt. Aimee "Rebel" Fiedler. She is the first official female Viper Demo Team pilot, and only the second female single-ship air show pilot in the history of the USAF. In this video, she flies "Venom", the specially painted demo jet. Unfortunately, the lighting was pretty poor due to the cloud cover.
I was right in front of the F-16s on the ramp, so I recorded most of the ground show and included it in this video. The De Havilland Vampire and C-17 were flying at the same time, so I had to switch between them. This is a low show due to the cloud cover, but on the bright side, there are 5 high speed passes and a wall of fire on the 4th one!

i went to that show same day and that was probably my favorite plane there
I’m going to have to go see that show somewhere, because nothing is more exciting to see a woman pilot one of the premier jets in military arsenal! I have so much respect for all that serve but when they’re at this level it gives me so much joy and respect! Great flying #aimeerebelfiedler.

I like the music adds feeling to the demo but sometimes it's too loud
The music/songs behind so annoying can't let me enjoy the video
Why do they need some idiot doing parade ground maneuvers round the plane, does my head, the plane should be ready for takeoff from the start. All he does is remove the chocks.
