I've never bothered with TWS since DTT was implemented, but then I've also never found myself in a position where I needed to track and engage more than two targets at once either.

this is so true and for fighter targets you need to use that expand option, if more than 4 fighters and they were 4th gen id be going cold after first shots i fire lol

I've seen your videos on how to start jets....next time I go to a war museum featuring one of those jets, I think my intrusive thoughts are going to win

This thing should include a SAM Simulator. Instead of in a plane you sit in the C2 vehicle for a S-400 battery. I could make it rain bits and pieces of F-16s all day.

Look for TMS Right, target management switch right. Short meaning a momentary press, long meaning more than one second

so in TWS you dont need to wait until your missile goes active? Good advantage, i always waited till my first missile goes active radar before shooting tonthe next target.

The F-16 can TWS /10/ targets? The GENERAL PURPOSE multi-role? What about dedicated Air-to-Air rides like the F-14/15/22?

I'm just starting out. unlike the Su25 the f16 that i just bought, the training module is so vague for people to actually learn. Where is the TMS button? I know how to move the cursor to meet a radar target on the screen, and i'm following the buttons to increase or decrease radar range, but wheres the button to lock it? I can't find anything. All I find is a multitude of acronyms when i search, of which at this point I have no idea what any of them mean yet. it's a nightmare 🤣

Long means hold for 1+ seconds. Short means momentary press.

I can use some help here , whenever I switch to my second target using the TMS right button, the first missile leaves the first target and head for the second target , and I end up hitting all my missiles to a single target.

Do you still have to keep them under the radar for the missles to hit?

You can assist the missiles for a couple of seconds before they go pitbull. Pitbull meaning the missile switched from using your aircraft’s radar guidance to using its own radar to guide it to target. So no but you can still assist the missile. Be careful how long you assist it because you put yourself at more risk of getting hit by the enemy missile

@Jacob in rws you have to hold the radar in the azimuth of the radar untill the missle goes pitbull, is that the case with the TWS? Also, can you follow on the HUD how many seconds until pitbull, like in RWS?

For me the red arrows arent showing up do you have any idea why

It’s been two months, so you probably know this by now, but for those who don’t: The red triangles show up when you have an AWACS plane feeding you info via datalink. If you don’t have that, those triangles will not show up.

they will simply get locked in the FCR, using the procedure of this video. But one important thing i find, is that this TMS mode only works properly within 40 nautical miles or closer

Too bad they broke the f16 radar again. Can't lock anything until your about 20NM if your higher, and 30-40NM when your lower but that means you have to get closer to fire. So you have to be co-alt or below to get the max range.

Cant you just do this in RWS instead because it has better range?

In real life u can use data link systeam that conect to entire team and shut down entire enemy
