I'm a retired USAF C-130 crew member from the 1970's and 80's. These videos of USAF aircraft put a smile on my face. I can only imagine what the inside of that E-8 looks like. Thank you so much and the shots of the C-17 coming in to land were amazing! Keep up the outstanding work.

@@meadj8 I was airborne comm operations on EC-130E, ABCCC. We directed air war in southeast Asia. All analog .. no idea what digital was in those days.

C-130's are beautiful aircrafts to say the least.

WOW you have no idea how cool this is! The JSTARS E-8 use to be N527SJ, cargo 707 for Southern Air Transport, I worked on that plane in 88-89!!! Thank you!

The sound of those F-16s! so powerful

Sticking that beast around the pattern, that right turn to finals at 10:45 was just fantastic!!!

Oh boy, you make me crying with the E-8 on approach and the C130 following, what an exceptional sight. You can't image how nostalgic I'm feeling seeing this video. The sound is just incredible exactly what I remember in the 70's. Thank you so much for this lovely video.

Wie bekommt ihr diese perfekte Pan-Verfolgung hin? Egal welche Aufnahme: vom Anfang bis Ende ist das Objekt sooooo präzise und sanft in der Mitte des Feldes... Unfassbar !!! Ich gratuliere !!!

Übrigens, ich verwende die gleiche Kamera die in der Beschreibung erwähnt wird, aber meine Ergebnisse liegen von der Qualität weit tiefer als eure, abgesehen von der Verfolgung. Die Kamera alleine macht nicht den Meister!

The Boeing 707 is music to my ears, and to be quite honest I really watch its climb many times, especially for high pleasure. These catches are like no other, and these recordings of Air Force Bases really really makes my day, besides recording civilian airports. ☺🤗

I used to be a fuel cell tech on the J-Stars aircraft. Due to poor leadership I quit but it was awesome to crawl into the fuel cell and do work

Every single E8-C out there myself & my Dad worked on to strip it from a 707 and upgrade and modify it into the E8C JSTAR in Lake Charles, LA. To date there is no other platform that was stripped down to the point these were and fully rebuilt to an even better aircraft than the original 707, which says a lot because that 707 airframe is still one of Boeings best next to the 747! At one point during the strip-down you can stand on top of the fuselage and see the concrete below through the airframe. We both started when it was still Grumman and most of the management was from the Grumman F-14 project out of Bethpage, NY and those men & women were some of the best people I’ve worked with to date! Then Northrop came and well I don’t have much to say there..!

Superb quality filming. I have never seen such precise framing of moving aircraft. And obviously a good vantage point there at Ramstein.

Nice catch on that C-21! You really don't see too many C-21's anymore!

I worked C-17s and C-5s at Spangdahlem back from 2008-2010. Miss seeing them come in. Almost certain I did a BPO inspection on that Mississippi jet....

13:10 Seeing the 747 taxiing alongside a parked C-5 can really show how gigantic those planes are. C-5 being a tad lower in height, it makes up for its payload

Those F-16 were from Spangdahlem, they'll be home for supper. I was at Spangdahlem 80-82 when we had f-4s.
