Absolutelly agree. The maps at top tier should be a lot bigger, my favorite are large desert maps, they are jsut both good for gameplay and for climate :)

💀 on these maps your role is much smaller. You just can't keep up with capturing points, If your team failed to capture the point, then you lost. And relying on team in War Thunder is the worst idea.

Honestly, big tunisia is a great map for top tier, I mean people want big maps for these battles and if you ask me this is the ideal size but the problem is you don't get too many long range engagements, a lot of people tend to push for capture points and to spawn camp.

Easiest way to flip someone is to winch him from the further track and pull it from the side (Example: grap the right track and pull it to the opposite side) if you grap left and pull left it will just drag him like you were doing at 2:20

Finally a M1A2 SEP V2 video. I do understand why no one wants to play this tank since gaijin did really messed it up. Good video!

I've been asking for this map to be put into rb for years I'm glad it is finally. They need to add more large scale maps. Many of the current maps are actually pretty large, but they cut them down into what we have now.

Agree with the incoming SAM sound. The "wind" noise before was perfectly fine. Although you shouldn't be able to hear it depending on the missiles speed. If its supersonic, you would never hear it coming toward you.

most missiles do kinda sound like little mini jets when they fly by at high supersonic speeds, honestly if they pitched up the sound and made it sound a bit more like a whip by tucking in the mix a little, i bet it would be pretty great sounding

Hunter did you notice the F-5E got a biig buff? its nice now for Ground RB, mavericks work flawlessly from the top and it has the radar pipper for the guns in AA mode. It's speed also make it decent for countering the Tunguska and S1

Did some CAS with the F15 and ran into a lot of trouble against Pantsirs. They were always able to detect my F15 before I could ever see them. Tough at top tier without thermal targeting pods and good stand-off weapons

Yes, definitely not easy to do SEAD with no good TGP, it became even riskier after SPAA missiles guiding is buffed in November, slight maneuvers won't do the job anymore, be careful out there.

maps like these i wish there wasnt any capture point so its purely a brawl and not having to worry about point loss it would also be nice to see the maps be alot larger so spaa can't clock you straight away abit like world war but integrated Into a normal game mode would be really cool or even making sim better for ground because its actually fun id play air sim more if they was a way to make it for certain platforms instead of turning cross play on and off

The new Tunisia map is my favorite in the rotation by far also when you were in the Gripen i saved you remember in my f16c? I would be cool if you used that footage in a video!

I feel like the Abrams gets clowned on so much in this game because of all the urban combat maps. But when put in long range environments it excels. I use the AIM and M1A1 extensively and I can always take more hits and deal more damage than I would on like abandoned factory. sure it can still use the long requested DU plates, but it is still a very good vehicle and does most of what you ask it to

This map is very fun with my spaded lineup but much much less fun when I am grinding out something new without an LRF, thermals, and even sabot.

What are you : cipher, talisman, or trigger?

Mirage 2000 still one of the very best, DAMOCLES TGP is phenomenal.

i personally like smaller maps. especially when i dont have everything unlocked. gives me a chance to do stuff.. LRF is a stupid huge advantage, and smaller maps ease the suffering with stock tanks. also wtf was that plane= wheelchair text that guy posted in chat XD?

They really did the f15 dirty with the so little cas capabilities

The idea is right for the missile passing by sound. I understand what they’re going for, but I didn’t expect them to just to plonk in the jet sound. Very unnatural sounding.

light armored vehicles hiding in a hull down or the most important is shooting down helicopters, these HEATFS are proximity fuse rounds.

This map has only existed for mid tier sim for yeeeaaaarrss, not even top tier sim could see it. Its addition to the general rotation is long overdue.

I got the map 2 times in a row one time with stock challengers not the best lmao

RWR doesn't work like that irl. It can't tell friend from foe it just shows all radar emissions. I'm not complaining though it's very nice not being bombarded by annoying beeps every time I take off now. It makes sense for a video game like this, it's just not realistic.

The map in the first match has to be one of the best maps for top tier tanks, its wonderful because its the one and only time i wasn't playing COD in my Leopard 2, however I've only got it once but it would be great to have it in the map rotation more. Personally if the gaijin had the matchmaker lean more to the bigger maps for 12.3 tanks they would be more enjoyable overall, as im getting sick of the corner camping maps such as city and other tiny maps

Hello, thanks a lot. Stay fast, and in a head-on you can dodge Strela missile but it is still risky with Skyhawk because you know the wings issue specially when heavily loaded, I recommend just out range it with Mavericks, launch your Mavs from 8km, even in point mode it is ok because mostly the Strela will stay static. Maverick will capture the target when it enters the lock range, around 3km for Maverick A, that means after few seconds from launch.

ay i got this map as well an for a second was so confused but it's the bigger version of Tunisia and I love it! wish we would get more BIG maps for top tier ground so they actually make goddamn sense. Like a perfect example is how in the hell is that tiny ass germany map still pushed on top tier. I feel like you literally can barely move around that damn map with anyone not seeing your ass from 500m away at most. The only reason it even has some play-ability is because of the buildings making it a maze of end of street to end of street engagements and even then it's pure pain in the ass cause the street corridor length is 400m or less.

so i watch how you drop guided bombs and i know why you cant drop more than one per target , i mean its not like guided missiles mavericks which its fire and forget, after you lock and drop the bomb if you lock another target and drop then the second bomb will miss , i saw this in your video at least 3 times , i get this as well with my f16a , you must hold lock until the bomb lands ,if the target moves and you have locked a new one then it will miss .

F-16C still better and it is a must to stay in the lineup, F-15A can be a replacement for F-16A. Yes I use multiple planes in the lineup. If F-15E Strike Eagle came one day it might be a replacement for F-16C.

I struggle with cas in my gripen i am new to cas but find myself getting shot down most games i try to avoid but the moment i turn back in to try and drop bombs i instantly get taken out by pantsirs any tips to help me improve

Don't go in when you read S1 on your RWR! Be patient, go away and far and start preparing to hunt that Pantsir S1, carry two TV missiles with you and launch both of them on the S1 because they might be intercepted. If you feel you are outnumbered by SPAA, tell the team and start calling for the enemy SPAA positions. Doing laser GBUs run while a good SPAA is up is risky now because SPAA radar guided missiles got a buff, they are deadly, responsive and great at guiding again.

Anything with a 120mm gun can be lethal, Abrams is just decent in every aspect (I would say it's worse than most vehicles but it's going to make players mad lmao)

Does anyone know how to maintain a good radar lock? I try my best to maintain one but it always seems to disengage after a few seconds within 5-10 km of the lock. I noticed having a nose on approach seems to be apart of the problem and have corrected it, but it seems to still be happening.

There is no guaranteed lock, SRC lock can be broken by chaff and PD locks can be broken by notching. The best target to lock on with PD lock is the head on target.

This map isn't a new map it is a very old map that they just cut it to small size that we know. I remember see my friends playing this map long a go with wwii tank
