Sorry, but the F 4 Phantom is old but deathly beauty with wings & I believe had a hell of a kill rate ?

The F14 was the reason I fell in love with aviation! It’s a beast to see in person! The sound those big GE engines make is one of those sounds that makes you proud to be an American! When you’re out of Tomcats you’re out of fighters. Any time baby! Fly Navy!!!!

As a teenager, I became a Sea Cadet and met several Top Gun pilots at NAS Miramar during a 2 week training. Shout out to Psycho and Trigger, both F14 pilots, and SSGT Rodney Danzler for helping a young man earn his wings.

The only thing that could have made top gun 2 better was Maverick finishing cleaning his p-51 and then it zooms out and there’s an f-14 next to it and says something about “should have bought some more soap.”

And maybe not being paralized or ao extremely cautious so as not to put some red star on the planes of the ennemy. Messages have to be clear, because the manipulationbof the east remains always the same anyway, so no need to be so.... Being poor spirited, or thinking that showing timorous will be a help.... Caution is ok, but in the east block there are taking a piece out of us and out of the whole world, both in the 1st degree meaning so as in the 2nd degree meaning. They take a piece. Of our spirit, everyday

Same thing. But we are in 2023. 70 years passed and the east block and its false revolutions and manipulations won t stop. Countries are falling down by the bag full. And even civil wars are being created insise our countries in order to block. France, the usa, even israel. Tomcat is the BEST looking jet ever, on top of that it's outclassed everything further than any fighter in it's day by a massive margin.

If the F14 got the EX/Super Hornet treatment, with all of the proposed upgrades, it would be untouchable. Still the best looking fighter ever built.

On 19AUG1981, CDR Henry "Hank" Kleeman and LT David "DJ" Venlet -- 'Fast Eagle 102' -- and LT Lawrence "Music" Muczynski and LT James "Amos"' Anderson -- 'Fast Eagle 107' -- of Fighter Squadron VF-41 (the "Black Aces") manned the two F-14As that shot down two Libyan Sukhoi Su-22 Fitter-Js, the F-14A TOMCATS first-ever air combat confrontation. It was also the first time a variable wing geometry aircraft shot down another variable wing geometry aircraft.

Never Ends till this Fat Lady Sings. I still to this day adore a swing wing. Close then Gone! The Issue was the speed of positioning the wings. I love Anime and Robotech comes to mind. A Versatile Fighter that can be close air support and MACH 2.5 Interceptor. Working on that.
