ezviz is a good brand... looks like it works well.. what i like about it is you cant see it when its mounted up. maybe upgrade in software might make it better

You actually got me into EzVis with their indoor camera peeping through the window cheap setup. The issue I have though are blind spots; my front door is covered and my rear windows, but my side door and half my front window are my 2 blind spots. So I'm hoping to upgrade to an outdoor wireless setup with maybe solar charging. I see EzVis has this option but it doesn't seem to be available in Canada...but this one is though, weird.

Seems like a nice outdoor camera. I like the 2K resolution and the fact it records at H265 to double the storage on SD card. Now I have a 1080p Kami Outdoor camera which also records on SD cards, but Kami has recently desided to flood the app with advertisement when starting the app on your phone. You get animated ads with sound which is totally unacceptable. This is their way to push you to a cloud subscription I don't want because I use SD cards. So I'm looking for an alternative and this Ezviz C8W Pro seems promising! I hope they don't have ads in their app? Thanks for the review!

Can you review any of the Aqara cameras or Aqara home security products? They are Homekit Alexa and google systems compatible..

FYI I have had one of these for probably 12 months. Lately, the picture is ""fuzzy" tried a few things and had no luck. It was installed outside and our winter was in the 20s at night, don't know if that was the issue. Brought it inside to see if there was moisture, in the lens, but that wasn't the problem.

Very similar to this amcrest camera I'm playing around with in terms of quality and features. I like the black and white night vision on the EZVIZ . Pretty decent quality but it looks like the color night vision needs some work.

Hello brother, I wanted to ask you a couple of things since I see that you know about security cameras, I hope I don't bother you too much but I can't understand some things and I have doubts about others, I'll try to be as brief as possible. What or where did you manage to hook the power adapter into? The camera is outside under the roof overhang. How are you gaining power to the adapter?

It is setup to loop record meaning it will record over old footage when full but you can always delete the recordings from the app using the "format" option.

Hello from Maharashtra state, India, what kind of sensors, pl elaborate, and if you come below the camera will it focus on you, I have seen many blogs of pro in my country but no one said of any sensors and can I install just above my main door of my apartment will it track and can I set the zone of my flat's door which will be just below the camera will it work. ? Yes. It can be turned OFF

slow loading of live view especially for an ethernet camera. my ring floodlight loads instantly and it's wifi.

@@tonyarredondo2032 is it Reolink 4K argus you are meaning ??? Then be adware that up and down directions are super sensitive.. almost impossible to adjust.. left and right direction are super easy but up/down is a joke.. it’s sooooo difficult to adjust properly.. regards from Denmark 🇩🇰

Does movement tracking work at night?

My ezviz wifi camera has been hacked. Even if I change passwords , emails, someone at ezviz can get access to new passwords through ezviz firmware build in camera or app installed on my phone. I had to buy new camera but not ezviz this time. Please be aware of this.

I have a problem with mine, i bought the C8W Pro and i have installed it in my back yard. So whenever i go in the back yard the siren goes off even if i disarm it it still goes off, is that normal? They say i should mute it, but at night when i go to bed i must unmute it, whats the disarmed and armed function for then if it still goes off either way. Can someone please help me or should return it

Cause i have a C3X aswell and that one works like that, when i arm the camera the siren would go off when it detects something and when i disarm the camera the siren won't go off, isn't the C8W pro suppose to work the same

Any wired or plugged in camera that uses camera based detection will detect farther than any battery powered one that uses PIR sensor. If you get one that has an optical zoom and you set it zoomed in all the way, it can detect way farther.

Recently purchased the EZVIZ C8W. Great camera only thing I wish it had is automatic scanning of the yard. Right now you have to manually pan the camera to see certain areas not visible. Wonder if there is a workaround or a feature coming soon for this. It's sad as I thought the camera would automatically scan your preset positions - seems obvious to me.

How do these cameras do when there is more than 1 person. Camera can only track 1 person. Unless these cameras hade a wide view to go to when it detects multiple people..

I have 4 of these cameras and whenever multiple people have come into view the camera has placed the red tracking box around every person in it’s field of vision. For example, on one occasion 5 people and 7 people on another occasion.

My C8W camera has its projector which stays on continuously when night has fallen, when I click on turn off the lamp it doesn't change anything, why? Did I touch a setting that I shouldn't have?

In case you haven‘t found out yet, you probably have the color-night vision enabled. Switch to black/white color night vision so the little flashlight turns off👍🏽

Does anyone actually know the difference between C8W Pro and C8W other than the design??

Why h8c 2k has similar specs and also but much cheaper

Only 15 fps?! How advanced have surveillance cameras been, they should shoot at least 25 fps, I for one don't like this brand, Reolink, Dahua are much safer, good quality/price! Thanks for the review!

Recording in 15fps and calling it a pro? Instead of focusing on 2k resolution aspect ezviz should make a well balance cam like previously featured cam on this channel such as C3X

No.. not this one. Look for a 4K resolution IP/PoE/NVR camera and the one with an optical zoom (narrow FOV) would be better (brands like Reolink, Annke, Amcrest, Lorex to name a few...But...for daytime license plate reading only. You will mostly have motion blur or IR glare during night time recording. There are specialized LPR cameras but they are expensive.

Not good. Their cloud system records in segments. Often with long pauses between them allowing crime to happen unrecorded. No continuous uninterrupted recording. Not fit for purpose.

Yes they can get hacked mine have too from my neighbour sitting in my front room when I heard a washer finished with the sound so be careful girls boys

Pas d'accord. Vous pouvez utiliser le protocole RTSP qui permet une connexion à VLC ou à un NAS. Par exemple l'adresse rtsp://admin:@:554/H.265 marche avec vos propres paramètres. Pour obtenir l'adresse IP, utilisez l'app SADPTool de HIKVision qui cherche et reconnaît la camera automatiquement.
