I know people say Ezekiel is ridiculous, but he has got such an energy about him that it's no surprise that all of these people are drawn to him.

He's extremely ridiculous. I was glad that a savior made him realize he was a fraud but yeah I feel ya. He has to play the "fake it until you make it card". But seriously, look at Carol's face in this video and when she first met him. She KNOWS its ridiculous because shes built from Ricks crew as a realist lol.

Ya'll jealous about Ezekiel cause he was everything that is mean to be right but no one on real life could ever be close to be that perfect being The worst part about it it's that anyone could've Ezekiel without a zombie apocalypse or Any kind of fictional history sh1t,people simply hate Ezekiel cause he managed to Survive without killing his tigress and in fact saving resources from trees,saving animals instead of eating them and Even making a trained army with real bullet proof suits and Even making a school and put familys toguether and trying to make they have the closiest thing to a normal life and Even being able to find a solution to avoid losing lifes of hundreds or they kidnapping or Even worse knowing how cruel saviors could be. He wasn't "ridiculous" just excentric King guy and he didn't realize anyhthing they just chanced the Best character and ruined him to be one of the rest "realist" people on rick's group

I don't know anyone who thinks Ezekiel is ridiculous. It's called over the top acting in order to inspire both the characters and the audience. This guy is a beacon of hope. Until his tiger was devoured by zombies, his belief in mankind's goodness and resourcefullness was something we should see more.

This scene made Ezekiel one of my favourite characters

I've been thinking about a girl I saw. She's a child, living with and facing cancer. She's suffered unbearable pain and suffering. And I just remembered her smile. I just remembered it, I guess because I've been thinking about her. I don't know how she has the strength to smile, but she still does it. Anyway, it reminded me of this, so I wound up here. That girls' attitude is so Ezekiel.

This speech and the slow zoom in is incredible! Everything about Ezekiel and his season 8 speeches are incredible wow

This is why King Ezekiel is one of my favorite characters in TWD. I love the actor too, Khary Peyton, i wanna see all his work from now on. Chad Coleman too (RIP Tyrese, love ya buddy!!!)

Chad Coleman is one of the greatest actors of his generation. The late Scott Wilson (Hershel Greene/"Daddy") thought so. And he would know, as Scott Wilson was one of the greatest actors of his gen too!!!! RIP you fucking mench!

I always cry when i listen to his speech. This man is amazing. The best character in TWD series.

Ezekiel "Khary Payton" is such a great performer. I never get tired of listening to the "yet i smile" scene... it's like a person's favourite songs or verses, even when repeated, it still sounds great.

People thing he's ridiculous but I'd serve under him. He could have gone crazy, he could have become a cold blooded killer. But no, he choose an option few would take. And he'll be remembered for that. KING EZEKIEL

When I’m having a depressive episode. Or bad things happen one after the other. I always say ‘and yet I smile’ and this is literally one of my favorite speeches in the show 🥹

And Yet I Smile. This is the Way.

Far as I’m concerned, this is the definitive speech of TWD. I’m mentally including the scene just before this, where, with respect, an ‘everyday nobody’ takes it upon himself to transform into an individual, a leader, whose got the weight of the world on his shoulders. . .and knows those shoulders mustn’t crack. So when he steps outside and launches forth the above words, I find myself crushed in the gravity of the aftermath.

Winning over a crowd seems like such a trivial, unimportant skill when faced with your typical zombie apocalypse scenario; but this clip proves it's importance. Sure, individually, you might not be able to back any of that shit you just said up, BUT if you manage to convince 29 other people of what you just said, you can do accomplish great and terrible things. That, mostly, was the point of Ezekiel's character and I loves watching it unfold.

I actually teared up when this episode aired!!

The music is the same as the ending of episode 8 Heart still beating, so powerful. It gave another dimension to Ezekiel, more grounded and universal.

Some say he is no more than a scam artist/cult leader, but the thing is he's not taking advantage of his people. Doing these grand speeches are definitely part of the act, but he believes it. He loves The Kingdom and he loves the people there. Scammers and cult leaders are 100% only interested in taking care of themselves. Ezekiel is not like that at all.

When I first saw Ezekiel I thought he was just another ruthless character like the Governor, but I was wrong, he's a guy who wants to live in peace that's why he avoids violence as much as possible to achieve peace, and that's leadership.

I think if Khary Payton didnt play this role, Ezikiel's fate may have been the same as in the comic book. But he breathed a life into that role with his smile alone. And I don't remember the king having all that cake.😳

Imagine if negan only killed abe but Glenn lived ik it'd be sad but I'd have all of season 7 in season 7 part 1 don't introduce the garbage ppl or ocean side just Alexandria hill top and kingdom vs saviors and have all out war in part 2 of season 7 I'd have Sasha still die but Tara instead of carl season 7 would be epic and scenes like this would have been better I'd end it with season 7 then do a trilogy 1st of peace and struggles becoming allies with the saviors 2nd would be our surviors vs the whispers third I'd have us fight a whole new group similar to the common wealth but not as big with rick dieing and having carl daryl michone judith etc in a big time jump
