I'm with you on the IDK and Realest comparison. I wasn't too keen on Realest either. But IDK for me is just a gem. Try EZ's Fraud and Freeze. They are two of my other favourites from this guy. Also, EZ does multi-genres. He can do R&B, death metal, rock and he plays multiple instruments (piano, guitar, drums, bass, harmonica, etc). He writes all his songs, does his beats, directs his own MVs, makes his own album art... He is versatility personified. I'm glad to see more people finding EZ thru reactors like you. Yes, that's his kitchen and his sister filmed this: Ez did all the effects and editing. The Realest first verse anc chorus are already completed when he found out he was 'secretly' meeting with Em and Dre and where he was told to just bring a beat what he has at that meeting - he has Realest beat. So you'll notice his second verse in Realest is just went he went off. The first verse was pretty calm..

EZ mentions about "Gang gang" in "F*ck Your Encouragement".

Ez mil Said that in the last line he used Drake music or beat in Forever song by Drake.

I know this is a bit out there but you have said many times that you are interested in music other than hip-hop, especially if the content makes you think. Well, if you want to know one of the places that conscious hip-hop came from then you should listen to some Gil Scott Heron - he was a poet and a musican. Songs like 'B' Movie, Black History and The Revolution Will Not Be Televised are amazing. They start with spoken word over music but become jazz or funk or the dreaded fusion. But, please do not let that put you off, it is easy to tell when the poetry ends and the fusion begins! They are story-telling, oral history with word-play and a lot of lyrical techniques that hip-hop picked up on later. Anyway, I would not make the recommendations if I did not rate them myself and I really think you would appreciate them even if only for context. Put it this way when I first heard B Movie, his first that I heard, I was blown away. If you strip away some of the contemporary references, it could almost be talking about the situation in the US and the world now - almost.

Filipino homie here! Drake on an ESPY award show made fun of Manny Paquiao's Accent by doing a skit on that show. Manny is a hero 2 EZ Mil so he got Drake back by using his beat/flow on the rap "Forever" 2 finish this rap. And being Filipino himself, it didn't sit well with him that Drake did that..
