From what I gather from all the translations I’ve read, the song is about Filipino patriotism. Being all the same, despite your color, and focusing on the good, not the bad. I can’t understand what he’s saying either but I love his passion!! The Spain line also hits harder when you realize that the Philippines have been colonized by Spain for over 300 years.
