You've left a lasting impact with this game along with everything else brother!

Coincidentally I broke out my old Avalanche Press- Eylau, Friedland, Borodino games and was thinking these could really use a modern update. This new version's producer seems to have read my mind. Very interesting. Superbly reviewed as always.

I think this will be appealing to many wargamers, even those who don't pay much attention to Napoleonic games. That's a great thing!

... those damned Cossacks!!! :D Laser-cut counters to frustrate counter-clipping procrastinators!! BWAHAHAHAH! Nice Pollard counters for marking losses! This looks like it will be much simpler than Winter's Victory (NES), although it seems to be the same regimental level, right?? Comparing the two is going to be a fun exercise!!! GREAT tribute to Mark Ruggiero!! Well earned and well written!!

Simpler than Winters Victory, much cheaper, a much smaller footprint and what looks to be a similar quality. What's not to like?

@@MoesWargames Finished game and was very good. Only two things that i would wish were better. Artillery aint causing much damage and its so easy to just run over it. Also formations charged from flanks get no reaction facing change even after combat, its very easy to flank somebody and they just stood there while not engaged with anybody else. Other than that is very good and fast playing system. Will be on par with Eagles if some things are just slightly changed.
