Eyewitnesses Swear They Saw This Prehistoric MONSTER | Boogeymen

Ойын-сауық

There is lots of conspiracy surrounding the idea of a lake monster named Champ in the Lake Champlain in Vermont, America. The suspicious sightings have created a tidal wave of tourists flocking to the lake every summer for the chance of a sighting.

To be honest the majority of folks around the lake are not familiar with the legend. It has never been the tourist draw that they hoped for. As most people from there thinks it’s all a hoax. And after 36 years of myself looking into Sandra Mansi. I am positive that she is lying and the photo is that of a log or driftwood that she placed on that sandbar.

This series is more about the drama and less about proving these creatures are real. Look at this episode for example. Sandra mansi photo was excellent proof but they dont show her old interviews where she speaks about the incident (she passed on so cant be interviewed now). Instead they get some skeptic to talk about the photo briefly and he insinuates it was a hoax. They ignore the researcher (i forget her name) who got echo location sounds from a large creature in the lake. They ignore the eyewitnesses who have seen the creature waddling about on land. They ignore the video evidence taken by a father and son from their boat (which i have on my channel), which clearly shows a large creature with a long neck and flippers under their boat!

The first time I saw something strange in that lake was when I was just a young kid about 10, I'm now 67 years old. I was getting bored and was just looking over the side of our 14' long vee hull boat while my dad was trolling trying to catch some fish. We where way away from the shore when we ran into something big enough it turned the boat. I saw what looked like a huge fish longer then our boat just under the water brush down the side of the boat. My dad was looking backward watching his lines, so he never saw it. The next time when I was about 22 years old my whole family was camping and my mom and dad went out fishing. Normally they would be gone for the whole day, this time they came back in about an hour, I figured they had just got in an argument. My dad asked me if I wanted to go out for a while. After about an hour we could see about a 2' wave forming a long ways away running down along the shore line until it went out of sight. There was no boats passing by and there was almost no wind. They had seen the same thing when my mother was with him, that's why they came back so fast.

@@cryptidhunter9901 The perceived neck and head appear to be following whatever was on the surface. It is something, but it looks more like a net or plastic sheet thrown into the water that was then sinking. The rope was then let loose from the boat. Nothing in that clip indicate that it was a living creature as the object observed behaved very differently from aquatic animals we already know such as fish, sea iguanas, whales and oters. Nothing indicated a pattern of movement as we would expect from an air-breathing, predatory aquatic animal. Just look at the type of pictures and videos attendees bring home from whale safaris; they present clear animal behavioral patterns which is repeated and reproduced between different observers. It's all too convenient that most "monster" movies capture the creature just as it disappears into the depths - it's as if someone wants the it to disappear entirely from further scrutiny. I wonder why? If it was living, BREATHING animal we would expect to observe a behavioral pattern, and clearly evidence of air breathing by breaking the surface to exhale and inhale. There's no doubt the men captured SOMETHING on their digital camera, but it's not necessarily an animal. The movement pattern of the object is more in line with a sheet or net tossed into the water that is then sinking just beneath the surface before it entirely plunges into the depth with just the attachment cable visible as it is disconnected from the boat, never to be seen again by preying eyes. The FBI guys isn't really experts on animal behavior, and they might as well just be inclined to confirm it COULD be an animal and then it's cut to be shown on camera as if that is the only viable solution. Lastly, the whole point of a monster hoax is to create a phenomena that is "real" as in there is definitively a physical presence yet ambigous and low enough in resolution that it can't really be identified as anything with certainty. Also make sure there is only a single take and that the object in question disappear so it can escape identification. Then anyone can apply their own interpretation of what it was, especially if you want to force a "monster" narrative on it for your audience. I didn't take the bait. It can be so many things, honestly, but that was the whole point of my interpretation: The data points are just too few and far inbetween to corroborate predictable patterns that is the hallmark of animal behavior.

This is a lake, not an ocean. More to the point, though, you can’t turn human limitations and finite resources like money and time into a world of total, absolute possibility. Some conjectures or hypotheses are more productive (or not) than others. The reason you think that plesiosaurs living in Lake Champlain are “entirely possible” is because you have no idea what you are talking about.

Plesiosaurs are not dinosaurs, they are reptiles. The closest thing to an aquatic dinosaur, that we currently know of, is spinosaurus. But this dinosaur was only living near water and fishing in water, probably spending most of it's time on the dry land. To suppose the existence of an ancient plesiosaur in a lake, have the population around since the cretaceous, and only present grainy photos of garbage floating in a lake, is kinda silly. A population of such large creatures would be known by now, not only by random out of focus photographs but also by direct physical evidence. Lake monsters are a matter of psychology, not cryptozoology. Once someone reports a lake monster and enough people believe the report, everyone sees lake monsters everywhere.

It's strange that the best picture was taken in 1977. Today, almost everyone owns a mobile phone with a camera for both still images and video of higher quality than the picture from 1977. Many larger boats and ferries today usually have cameras that films over the water during the journey. At moorings, there are almost always surveillance cameras. The chance that the monster will be captured in a picture is at least a thousand times greater today than in 1977, but still there is no newer and better picture.

Definitely either a giant Lake Sturgeon or eel in my opinion considering the humps that eyewitnesses had seen when it breaks the surface. Plesiosaurs are out of the question not only when one considers the time frame and also how the lake was formed but by 66-65 MYA the Plesiosaurs are on the verge of extinction and a rarity in the mesozoic seas even before the KT event due to, in most part predation from Mosasaurs.

If i do bring my cryto mind set to it probably a new species entirely. Honestly reptiles can't be in cold water in the winter and it frozen. Could be a new infiniband with the appearance of a small plesiosaur. Also could be evolution thing going on.

The Loch Ness Monster and Champ are very very curious. I have always been interested. BUT, fist of all, how could a Plesiosaur survive the cold winter? In pre historic times I wonder if any lived outside of tropic weather? Did they go into a dormant state like some reptiles can such as frogs and such as far aa I know? I need a marine biologist opinion I guess. But if there really is something, first, there has to be a population. They are as elusive as Bigfoot and the Yeti. Loch Ness has a link to the northern ocean, so there is the possibility of something coming and going. I do not believe Lake Champlain leads to the Atlantic? But I might be wrong? One good thing Covid has done ,its cleaned many water ways and the air in general. Lets hope that Champ and Nessie do exist, and Bigfoot and the Yeti too! It would really be something. But my best guess is either a huge eel or groups of Muskies or something?
