Eyes Wide Shut Ritual

Ойын-сауық

For those that are curious, these are what the lyrics mean and what they are backwards. Enjoy the new description 😁
Found via Bing Chat search.
My response is derived from web search results. The lyrics during the chant in Eyes Wide Shut are from a song called Migrations by Jocelyn Pook. The song features a verse of the Hindu scripture Bhagavad Gita, which was played backwards in the movie. The verse is:
paritranaya sadhunam vinasaya ca duskrtam dharma-samsthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge
This translates to:
For the protection of the virtuous, for the destruction of the evil and for the firm establishment of Dharma (righteousness), I take birth and am incarnated on Earth, from age to age.
The verse is spoken by Krishna, a Hindu deity, who reveals his divine form to his disciple Arjuna. The verse implies that Krishna manifests himself whenever there is a decline of morality and justice in the world.
The song was chosen by Stanley Kubrick for the movie, but he was unaware of the source material and its significance for the Hindu community. After some protests, Warner Brothers removed the chanting and re-recorded the song to not include it. The reason for using the Hindu scripture in the movie is unclear, but some speculate that it was meant to create a contrast between the sacred and the profane, or to suggest a hidden meaning behind the ritual scene.

List of mistakes Tom Cruise made in infiltrating the ceremony: Showing up late Showing up in a taxi Having the taxi driver stay outside and potentially give away information about who he was and, of course, reduce his credibility (The method of transportation and lateness might have been forgiven if he made it clear the driver was "in on it" and it seemed like he had plans to leave with another guest) Giving the password to the men outside the building, unprompted Only putting his mask on when he's already inside the mansion Wearing a mask intended for a commoner Wandering around the mansion, looking like a fish out of water just watching people engage in these acts Not realizing there was no second password (the final nail in the coffin) Kubrick doesn't even draw attention to half of these. I love how he leaves the details up to the viewer to decipher. Showing, not telling.

@@dibdap2373 The masks in the movie are Venetian, which were worn as far back as the 15th century for festivals. They could be very intricate and elaborate, like the ones worn by the party guests, and became really expensive as the aristocracy of the time started paying more and developed a sense of fashion around them. But there were also simpler masks with ordinary human features, usually white, but sometimes with designs around the top of the face. These were called volto masks, or "citizens' masks" since they were cheap enough for peasants to buy. As tastes got more extravagant, you could tell at a glance the who was wealthy and spent time in elite circles apart from the commoners. The same thing apparently applies in these modern masked balls; almost every other person in the mansion wearing a volto mask is a servant.

The problem is that the majority of these would NEVER enter Bill's mind, especially with the limited information he had on the event. The greater theme is that its impossible for commoners to infiltrate the gatherings of elites. You, me, most people will never be able to blend in or be welcome with elites. We give ourselves away in ways we can't even conceive, and they are repulsed by it. Even Bill, a wealthy doctor, is an insect compared to the individuals at this party.

I've tried it multiple times on multiple channels. There are auto delete functions in place that the channel hosts have no control over, YT controls it. So any vids on these subjects also get deleted. There used to be a bunch a few years ago, until YT cleaned house and removed all those channels. You can't even type the name of the other video hosting websites that do allow these subjects to be exposed. Even with spaces between the letters. They get auto deleted. But let's just say it involves kids. And death. And many other horrible things. And let's see if this is even allowed to go through. And while that may seem farfetched to the average non aware person, let's just say all the expose vids and documentaries that are allowed to be posted on other vid hosting sites have thoroughly exposed this stuff. Including whistleblowers coming forward talking about what's really going on in the upper elite circles.

The few times I've watched this movie(it's hard to put myself through the anxiety the second half of the movie produces) this scene always gets the soundbar cranked to the max and shakes the windows of my whole fucking house lol God my neighbors probably think I'm literally recreating this scene if they've seen the movie or recognize the music at all lol Barely related side note: Hey, haunted houses! I'm talking about the fake ones around October that everyone goes to! Why don't you stop pretending that Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson make "scary" music? I guarantee if you opted more for a dead silent start to your haunted tours, and played shit like this(other notable inclusions would be music from Kubrick The Shining, the soundtracks for Hereditary, Midsommar, hell even the soundtracks for the Silent Hill video games) as people entered the attractions, you'd have a MUCH MUCH MUCH better reaction to the jump-start and startling shit you have every year. It drives me fucking insane that the goal of these places is to scare people, yet the blast head banging punk rock the whole time that just makes you wanna get wasted and jump in a mosh pit. That does NOTHING compared to pieces like this to scare people. If anything the music should be in the background, to simply unnerve and keep the people from ever getting too comfortable.

I like that a lot of people have awakened, especially in America. In Austria it's still rather weak, that's my impression. Probably what skyejacques said - picked up dark energy, even entities, from watching this. It happens. I refrain from most horror movies and such, but have watched a few sci-fi horror or drama horror movies that left me with severely bad energy/entity attachments afterwards. Actually did have to have somebody close to me who is very psychically gifted do a "laying on of hands" thing in two of those instances, which got the muck (energy and entities) off of me. As soon as he put his hands on they flew off, so I went from "covered in muck" one second to back to normal the next. Instant. It was so bad though the movies made me feel like I needed to bathe in holy water afterwards or something. O.o
