Robert is such a nice guy! None of the arrogance that one might expect from someone with has background. The album is a gem. Songs that I didn't like at first, grew on me later. Great guitar and drum work indeed. And Alison, congrats on Grammy #27.

I agree. Nice guy. Real regular. Not a self-absorbed superstar. Just a singer in a band. Glad to see him doing this, and all the interesting music he's done over the years. Always wish him well.

If you happened to see them on tour, Alison introduced the band, including her "all-time favorite guitarist", her husband. Being close and having a friendship doesn't mean there is an affair going on. Though they may look and act like lovers, I think its more to do with the thrill of making something new and magical.

Think what you will about Katie… the kid has some smarts. She knows the “lame” questions are the opportunity for Robert or Allison to stand in contrast to the quality of the question. Katie’s job is to make them look good. I enjoy Katie’s innocent act. To start with, she opens with what are the differences between Robert and Allison. She makes the contrast greatest by starting with age. She makes the age difference [and all the other stuff] greatest by starting with 1971.

Robert is no dummy, but his innocent act, saying I don’t know, keeps the interview from being a boring ping pong conversation. Shy little Allison may be smarter that both of them. When Katie left the OTHER place, she was burnt out, they raped the golden girl and it showed. I love to be intertained by Katie being little ol miss down to earth and her insightful conversations. I heard exactly what I wanted to hear about the pair singing together.

I think Krauss has been training with some kind of speech coach. When she first started winning awards, fans were shocked to hear that the same woman who sounds like an angel when she sings talks like a cross between Kermit the Frog and Dudley Doo-Right. When I heard her speak on the Grammies last night, I was quite suprised. She seems like she's trying very hard to make her voice sound more feminine when she talks.

I believe doing the work to get an interesting sit down with two greats was beyond her interviewing capabilities.
