I play drums and guitar... playing and singing is not too difficult in either case if you are reasonably proficient. Playing lead or syncopated fills while singing is another story! Otherwise, singing while playing a rock beat is like walking and singing. That said, this dude sings well and lays down a good steady beat. Very cool!

Otis Guy I too am a fellow muso. I play Bass and sing. Some genres are easier than others. Singing rock yeah but when I get to reggae we’ll let’s just say I’m glad that I only do harmonies 😂😂😂😂 on those songs. These guys and girls that sit in with them are just brilliant.

Playing the drums and singing..such great talent..another oldie but goodie by this amazing group❤

let's just appreciate the guitarist in the red coat who played the same C notes throughout the whole song. Everyone should understand not every guitarist wants to be that man standing on the stage and playing the same notes for the entire song, but this man understand if he is absent, the cover won't be successful. Great job

The consistency throughout the song is incredible. The simplest thing is sometime the hardest thing to do.

The drumming is off the scale - perfection - I love this band

The lead guitarist plays so effortlessly , kicking his shoes likes its another day in the office. What a legend! And while dancing Con's laugh at 3:18-3:24 .... priceless!

Not to difficult if you're a natural talent. If you had to work harder to get there, then yes it's hard.

Yes, it was a good solo. On the other hand I was surprised, because they usually play the original versions almost note by note. And there's no solo in the original song. But I like this way as well.

They killed this song. From the Guitar, the vocals everything sounded like the orginal. Great band.

Man!! That huge arena/stadium tone Stefan Hauk gets on that Les Paul solo is what brings me back to any HSCC video he happens to be playing on. Guy has monster chops and has somehow corralled that mythical 'seminal tone' that all us guitar players seem to be endlessly chasing. Survivor should pay him a royalty for elevating the caliber of this song......Well done, sir!

I think every guitarist on the planet knows how important that one note is to this song, and how difficult it is to maintain the exact amount of palm muting for an entire song, but well done Dusty - nailed it 👏 😁

I knew Jimi quite well....from way back when, when he was the lead singer for "Target" (Memphis)....He would be so impressed by your awesome cover of his big hit.... thanks for bringing back memories of such a talented friend and wonderful guy...who had no bad ego, whatsoever..

Like many others, I have found HSCC during this difficult time of pandemic. You folks are such a blessing at such a time as this. Eye of the Drummer: to his kits & his mic. Awesome!

The vocal and drum parts sound as if they were performed by different (and great) musicians. Actually, the whole rhythm section sounds groovier than the original to me. Also fantastic arrangement, tastefully mixed, and that guitar solo... man... Not sure these guys realise how good they are.

When I listen to cover tunes, I listen to changes made that make it the band's style to make it their own and yet keeping the real song as evidenced by the drummer's beat and voice that has become very familiar to all listeners. For me it's all in the arrangement. The subtle change in the intro's last line.the staccato rhythm guitar coupled with the bass guitar, the lead guitar, keyboard and bongos that blend so well and nobody upstaging the other and finally that subtle change again in the song's ending made this their own and made for a great cover! Way to go guys! Every time I hear you all play it reminds me that there are still bands out there that really care about good musical arrangement.

Phenomenal. Drummer's singing is a nice surprise, from a quiet guy to a rocking badassery. Guitar player is off the wall
