I feel really bad for the moths it took me a few months to feel ready for Eden (but I'm a coward) they'll have to choose between eden and not completing the season...

I went to eden the first day bc i thought sky was simply a story game and all the grey sky kids that i hadnt lit up were just npc's LOL

Haha same, I was scared to go as well. Especially about the bit saying to travel in large groups which made me feel as if I had to gather together lots of friends to help, and when I finally did go I chickened out halfway through several time - one of them was last the point of no return 😂😂

I just completed the quest earlier, there were so many moths in there trying their best to get through Eden. I felt really bad and guided 5 of them that were really struggling through as best as I could, it was a bit tough but I got them to the end and signaled them to follow me. Like an earlier comment said I feel bad for the moths that feel intimidated by Eden, I remember as a little moth putting off Eden for as long as possible and then I worked up the courage and asked a friend if they minded guiding me through so I wouldn’t be too anxious, they didn’t mind and instead invited more people to join our adventure. They were veteran beta players and they looked after me 😅 and now I look after moths I come across if they ask for my help. I wonder how many will decide to not complete the season because Eden is too intimidating/daunting.

Today I saw the quest, decided to spedrun Eden while guiding and helping a moth. I love helping little moths to get around. To be honest I don't think I am a veteran since I joined Sky during Season Of Performance... And I kinda liked this quest, but I found it funny how the spirits like threw a kind off party after we came back....

alright skycotl vets, let's give the new moths a hand and show Eden it ain't as bad as it seems!! for the hopeful steward!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

10:53 you can fly above the rock to go faster also do not wait at this spot 29:30 you will be stuck beetween an unsafe spot and the infinite falling phase, the best way is to start full bunny hopping from the previous one(28:05), if you have good timing you can win 10/30meters without getting hit and if you have a elder mask you can reach the sand dune before getting extinguished

Just saw this video for the first time, and it’s helpful too reading comments here from others who understand the weird limbo this quest created for newish players. I had played a bit before a handful of times, but I really picked up Sky more consistently this autumn for the first time. Season of Revival was my first real season in terms of being present for the whole thing, and yes, I was one of those who quit at quest 4 rather than do Eden. I admittedly felt a bit of disappointment at missing the fireworks, but for me, it beat the alternative, as I just wasn’t confident in doing the quest in that timeframe. I’m currently saving up a bunch of wingbuffs so I at least won’t have to do Eden again for quite a while once I do go, and I’ve also completed most of the quests for older seasons, so the remaining quests after this one will be a breeze once I’m there. That all said, I’ve since watched some playthrough where new players start in Aviary, and my appreciation has grown a great deal for what I can now see is the setup for completely new players to learn the game mechanics and engage with the story. And of course, if you start this way, you’re walked through by the Steward from Dawn to Eden (with some foreshadowing?) vs. those of us who had opened the realms but just hadn’t done Eden and felt like this was a sudden spike in challenge from the first three seasonal quests. So yeah, despite my initial mixed feelings on this quest, my storyteller’s brain can now see what this season was doing, and as a result, I’m already coming to view it in hindsight with a lot of warmth and satisfaction, and I’m slowly prepping to finish this quest in my own time. Looking forward to bringing all the sprits home one day!

The fourth seasonal quest is going through Eden?? Dang, I already went yesterday. I actually love Eden but I really hate the cutscene after it, it's too long...

Ugh I don't want to do eden but the new aviary home is gorgeous 😭

TGC worry so much tht moth going to be overwhelmed bcause can’t buy accecories, but let them go to eden 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ya its super annoying they do that. I think most people do thier eden on suday, so releasing it on monday its kinda a dick move. Then ontop of that, you cannot get more than 15 ascension candles a.week from eden. So its a waste of time to go to eden until the next sunday.

@@Angelic_Lovey i just did it and got 1 ascension candle.😅 doesnt reallt add anything to the avery, just some random npcs that dont do anything yet. You could probably just wait till sunday again, though there is another quest up on saturday?? I think. It said 5 days . MAYBE friday??

funny enough, when my character was gestured to go to eden, she looked back many times at hopeful stweart, then back at eden like "i come back to my hiatus to help you and you greet me like this?"💀

I put off Eden for 2 months… then I did it and realised it was actually a piece of cake! Happy to guide any moths who need help 🤝

Normally go through eden on Sundays but had a feeling I should do it the next day, glad I did, because of this quest. I try to go every week. Some weeks I skip tho. Been playing since December of last year. I know every exploit now lol. There's one in the new map as well, that's pretty dope. Not going to tell. Gotta figure it out yourself.

If you did it on PC, try loggin on mobile. It happened with me a while ago and it said "Go back to Eden to finish your journey" and things went back to normal.

@@Gyza_ hmmmm, I did it in switch, also when I logged in on mobile everything was normal....haven't logged in on switch yet to see if it's back to normal already, but thanks for the info!!! Hopefully it'll be back to normal cuz I dont want to do both a map and wing run cuz that's gonna take me all day....
