Got a bit teary-eyed myself... Like, do you remember when hip-hop was art? I do. Skinny teen, early '90s, beaten down cassette deck, in some basement or garage, eyes and mouth wide open, listening to, well - this... good times. Pushing 50 now, still moves me.

True story: 3 Feet High and Rising was the first piece of music I ever owned when, for Christmas as a kid, I asked for the cassette tape (no CD's yet in my household). I wanted the record as I had heard Say No Go on the radio and was blown away. My parents bought it and I played it over and over and over. Thus began my lifetime love of Hip Hop. That album had a song called DeLa Orgy and I was so scared my mom would hear it and take the cassette away, lol.

This was so refreshing to see DE La perform. I loved the whole cooking tutorial. I know Dave was watching in enjoyment, and the picture taken with the crowd in the back shows they're love for performing. Rest in power Trugoy❤ great job De La
