Thanks for the nice review on this little VW van. I think people have to realize that this is more for looks and not for performance. It would be nice to see someone modify this with hobby grade electronics, but it probably wouldn’t be worth it to make it go to much faster because it’s probably pretty top-heavy and then that nice pretty VW body will get all scratched up. I’m assuming there is a 130 size motor in there. A 180 would give it some torque. For the price it looks like a fun RC if you’re into these VW vans. Thanks again for the review!

Very nice and compare with the D12 mini that it is 1/16 looks like the D 52 is 1/18 scale 🔵🔵🔵🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍🔵🔵🔵

Thanks Carlos! Yeah I think vendors these days aren't too exact with their scaling, but maybe with Maisto onboard they'd be more accurate 😮

So it's underpowered and doesn't have oil shocks. The look is nice and the steering angle is tight, and only these two ingredients worth from this model, other than that is trash.

I don't think it's designed for hobbyists like us unfortunately! But it might do well for those who want to get into RC without too much of an investment.
