Man I need to get into Unital Ring. I’m glad that Eydis is canon now because I did like her in Unleash Blading, though I am glad that Reki seems to not have retroactively made Unleash Blading canon as well because that would be such a headache.

Wooooo this makes me so happy 😭😭😭 to see her officially canon because she was the best thing of the mobile game and when it got shutdown it made sad if her character ended there but the sao gods granted us a miracle.

same here i was so sad when UB shut down, all that wasted character development and design. the other SAO games just don't do her justice for me. they put her in and don't give her sword release, and as a man of culture no bed scene with her unless im wrong

I was so excited that I was typing so fast that there were so many errors, lol

she's canon but I'm still annoyed that unleash blading is gone

Unleash Blading manages to make things even wonkier by making Eydith responsible for obtaining Ronie and Tiese's dragons. She rescued a couple of orphaned dragon eggs and brought them to Central Cathedral to be raised into mounts for Integrity Knights. Since Alice already has her mount at this point, these are clearly the two hatchlings that Ronie and Tiese are raising during the Moon Cradle Arc.

Looks like the anime is getting new waifu once Unital Ring premieres that is. Maybe Eydis might become the next best girl of the SAO franchise just like Alice.
