    Certainly one of Eydie's very best recordings. The emotion here is so very clear. And, God, it's live! And... Shelly Winters didn't sound too bad either.

    Ah the Merv Griffen Show! Those were indeed the days! Eydie was a magnificent singer and one of my all-time favorite female singers. Had the pleasure of seeing her and Steve live in Vegas. Both terrific entertainers. Wonderful memories. Such a loss. May she RIP.

    This song got a lot of airplay in the fall of 1969. It definitely made the charts , during the hard rock Era. I remember listening to it often on major top 40 stations back then.

    This is a lovely song. She sang it so beautifully. I remember a lot of Steve and Eydie’s tv performances in the 70’s and 80’s. They always gave great performances…strong voices, nice lyrics, wonderful presentations. They were a credit to their art.
