Eydie Gorme and Steve Lawrence on Regis and Kathie Lee - with Alex Trebek

From the early 90's when they were promoting an appearance at Westbury Music Fair. They sing a few bars of 'There Will Never Be Another You' and Eydie dances with Regis. Later they do a mock Jeopardy panel with Alex Trebek hosting.

Steve and Eydie were the best in their day. It is sad to hear Steve is in a home with Altzheimers. When Eydie passed Steve lost his soulmate. A beautiful couple.

What a great clip! Steve Lawrence was a multi talented man and to see him just sit at the piano and play and sing is wonderful but Eydie Gorme will always be the greater talent with her singing. What Steve Lawrence did in sitting down at the piano and playing and singing is what Regis had always wanted to do and the reason he took piano lessons.

I'm laughing right now, but only because Steve and Eydie made it all look so easy. The singing. the dancing. The jokes both rehearsed and improvised on the spot. Steve's "amateur[ Really????]" piano playing. I can't believe three of them are gone and poor Steve is battling Alzheimer's disease. At the risk of sounding like a square [ and I am ] this is what it means to be an entertainer.
