🔴 Extrinsic Semiconductor || SEMICONDUCTOR - 07 || in HINDI

In Physics video we explained extrinsic semiconductor and its types for class 12 in Hindi with diagram and formula. Extrinsic semiconductors are made by adding impure to intrinsic semiconductor materials like silicon or germenium. The process of muxing impurity is called doping, the impurity is called dopant and the extrinsic semiconductor is also known as doped semiconductor.
There are two types of extrinsic semiconductor, viz., n type and p type semiconductor. When a pentavalent atom is added as impurity, it is known as n type semiconductor and when a trivalent atom is added as impurity, it is known as p type semiconductor.
Extrinsic semiconductor has much more electrical conductivity as compared to the intrinsic semiconductor.

    The thing that has to be noticed is you added adds in video only when you Switch topics or pages It's a good idea of enabling adds at that particular time it Thank you

    Earlier i wasn't able to answer that why e from pentavalent atom doesn't leave a hole when it is gone into conduction band. It is because e will jump into that positive region only when the energy that comes out is high. In case of pentavalent atom energy release is less so e will not jump in it so it is not called as hole. Thanks for solving this problem.

    Sir, I have a question. Suppose I have a p-type semiconductor. So in room temperature the neighbour electron will easily detach and fill the 3-valenced molecule. But if the temperature is nearly 0k, then will this action happen? I mean will the neighbour electron detach?
