I know a really heartbreaking comparison. “I can’t do anything.” Both Sokka and Callum have use this line at points where they feel like the weak link in their teams. Sokka because everyone in his crew can control the elements but him, and Callum because he lost his ability to use magic and is no good in a fight.

I headcanon the whole series as Sokka writing a series of plays after seeing one too many Ember Island Players catastrophes. He's the hero of course, but look at everyone else; Rayla = Suki: Badass fighter who not only gets *all* the awesome fight scenes and emotional moments, but bops the hero in the head when he gets stupid. She even has Suki's inability to quip and awkwardness outside of combat. Visualize the whole series as Sokka's love letter to Suki and *everything* makes perfect sense. With a touch of Yue because she has moon powers(that she almost never gets to use) and white hair. Ezran = Aang: Profoundly naive yet unimaginably wise little cinnamon roll with destiny sense who the hero adores as a brother without question - especially since he doesn't have to deal with any weird "he's dating my sister" shenanigans. Amaya = Katara: Powerful maternal surrogate who would have been absolutely on their side if the hero hadn't been a dumbass. With a touch of Toph. Bonus points: Soren = *Season One* Sokka: idiot fighter who's useless outside of combat and is too gullible to realize he's a sucker. Along with a *heaping* helping of Zuko because every stupid thing he does is to make his megalomaniac daddy happy.

Took me a few seconds to realize that Callum actually said none of these things.

Yo i just realized how Soren and Zuko have the same struggle(ALMOST!!): Soren just wanted to prove himself to his father, just like Zuko, they also both have a sister thats better than them, although, we know they both didnt have the same relationship with theyre sibling. Soren and Claudia were almost like best friends, looking out for eachother. Meanwhile, Zuko and Azula... yeah i dont think i have to explain it.... Anyways they both figured out they didnt want to prove themself, they didnt care about theyre honor, they both saw how theyre father was toxic and used them. At the end, they became good and got redemption(idk how to spell it), they also wanted to help, Zuko helped in the battle(he also helped Aang to firebend), Soren helped in the war, anyways thats it lol ty for reading
