You’re not too old for this cut, or a buzz cut, they actually make an older woman look younger. I’m 72 and I have a buzz cut, I keep my top a little longer than the sides, shorter than this young ladies, I use number 8 clippers on top, 1 inch. 🥰

@@JessicaSmith-gx4ib a long time, about 12 yrs. Everytime I think I’m going to grow it out, it gets to a point, I can’t stand it and take the clippers to it. I live in hot Florida and it’s real humid here, so I’m not fighting this hair anymore. I use to color my hair real blonde, but my natural color is light gray, I could hardly tell the difference. You can try a cut with the highest numbers on the clippers, or a salon the first time. I’ve cut my own hair all my life and I’ve also cut it too short, but it grows back so fast. LoL! Good luck to you whatever you decide. 👍🥰🌹

@@kathyrizzi8754 I'm so sure your looks so amazing. Well I made a hair appointment for tomorrow evening. I'm definitely leaning toward clippered back and sides with the top about 1 1/2". My hair is platinum blonde. Just not sure how short to take the sides. I've found a couple pictures with its very tight. Thank you for talking to me. I love Florida I go three times a year.

Hi Elena, it’s a number 2 (6mm) on the sides with shorter guards to blend it in. There are tutorials on my channel about how to achieve this look😊

I like "Edgy" cuts but be mindful Mia Farrow's cut styled by the late Vidal Sassoon was meant to be controversial from the start! Living in Los Angeles people are constantly outdoing themselves for shock value! Unless your client is a member of the Manson family, they may not want to associate with all the psychedelic baggage of the late sixties that goes with an "Xtreme" cut. Need inspiration? Consider the contemporary look of Leigh Nash in her various videos from boyish to sophisticate!
