Phone Only Glass made by lightning is extremely fragil and very unique in shape. That’s glass from something man-made and probably a bit large that got smoothened out by the waves and sand in the ocean.

Pretty, but not very rare. When lightning hits sand, it creates glass, and over time that glass gets broken, and smoothed out by the ocean waves along the beach. What is rare, is finding a large specimen.

Fun fact: some people are breaking glass bottles into small pieces, then sandpapering them and apply a shiny spray to make them look like seaglasses bc of they can't find them...

Does it make you think of how it looked before it became battered and sanded? What was the glass used for before it was found in that condition? How old? These are questions I hear in my head when seeing such.

Sea glass takes anywhere from 20-30 years to form into that smooth shape, so i'd say it's pretty rare.

If it wasn't planted there, it is safe to say that it's the lens from the eye of a giant squid. Giant squids have basketball sized eyes with hard lenses.

This reminds me of what happened three years ago... So one of my closest friends was moving away and they gave me a big piece of seaglass, just a tiny bit wider than my palm, to me as a departing gift before they left. It wasn't a circle. it was more of an uneven triangle, but I still treasure it because it reminds of them :D

its just glass from a bottle or just a random glass pane. It becomes smooth and opaque when it rubs itself on sand and rocks and is pretty common.

True fact: when glass fell into the sea side the glass will become smooth, how? The answer is the waves drags some sands and because of wave the glass was rub with the sand in the water, thats why when you sea a glass near the beach its no longer dangerous to touch.

An extremely rare piece of sea glass is taken from its natural habitat and will sit in his sock drawer for the next ten years.

I've found sea glass before (lake glass more like, i've found it on the shores of lake Champlain in upstate New York) and it's been smooth, usually shards that look like beveled french fries but you got extremely lucky finding a piece that round! I suspect it was already round like that, maybe the bottom of a wine glass or something that snapped off some 100 years ago because the smoothness would indicate at least 50 or 70 years of getting worn. That's pretty cool! Happy hunting for more of those! Edit: Also wanted to thank you for subscribing to my channel :)

I have 2 If You can Imagine being of Higher Quality then this MaGniFiCienT Shard.

Huh, it appears someone once dropped a hunk of glass into the ocean and it was sanded down until it was smooth and the same shape as all the other rocks then it washed up on that beach, lucky find! Hunks that big don't generally get lost and then find their way back to land that often.

Quartz Stone probably

I swear I've found one of these but my 5 year old self thought it was an ugly rock

Its a glass flask that have been rolling around in the Odeon for some time and then went to shore, it’s nothing special guys. It’s everywhere, just go look on your own beach!
